arrow 12 Cherry Tomatoes
arrow 1/2 Cup Sugar
arrow 1/2 Cup Water
arrow 1/3 Cup White Wine
arrow 2 slices of Ginger
Slit a cross at the end of each cherry tomato.
Blanch tomatoes in boiling water for 30 seconds.
Immediately put blanched tomatoes in ice water. wahmbulance This step makes it easier to peel their skins, so don't skip it!
Peel skin of cherry tomatoes.
Put sugar, water, wine, and ginger in a small pot and bring to a boil.
Stir to dissolve sugar completely.
Turn off heat and put in pealed tomatoes.
When cooled to room temperature, put into container and let sit in refrigerator overnight.
In the magazine its paired with Tofu Panna Cotta! I haven't tried this one yet, but let me know what you think when you do!
