Well, I asked about this the other day. So here it is, my own list of stuff to do.

Some of these ideas I worked on for weeks but never got around to even trying. Some of them went up in Barton but nobody even bothered to give it a second look or chance.
Yes, my adoring public, this is BeeVee's remake and to-do list! Marvel at my brilliance.

First on the chopping block!!!



'AntiCitizen-One was a historical fantasy that told the tale of the Cold War in the 1950's. Instead of the ending we all know in our history books another ending to the war was implemented. Near the beginning of the war a group of mercenaries suddenly made their appearance and sided with the Russian forces. Although unknown in their origins they defiantly were a force Earth had never seen before.
Russia won the war and then continued to eventually take over the world with the mercenaries, now known as the Cascade (or the Caden forces), at the helm. The Cascade took regular citizens and biologically engineered them to be one of them, a Caden. They continued to study human bodies and came up with ways to create the perfect soldiers. They came up with super-powered soldiers, ready to be placed behind the metal masks of the Caden. However, resistance groups attacked the science facility and freed many.
The basis of this story now lies in the actions of these biologically engineered humans. Now nothing less of what you would call superheroes they now have complete control over who would control the world. A urban world is breaking out between the Caden forces and the Resistance groups and now both sides are using these heroes as their weapons. Tensions rise and war between the Cascade and the Resistance is almost upon us. The prize for the winner of this war ultimately is the decision the fate of Earth'.

It is a superhero roleplay based in the year 1963. If you have ever played Half-Life 2 you can imagine the Cascade as the Combine from that series. They have complete control and domination over Earth and it is nearly a Tyranny. The citizens are treated horribly and publicly abused by the Cascade daily. These heroes work for both sides, running secret contracts and running a identity.
The roleplay endorses a flipped-perspective. While it seems the Resistance is fighting for the greater good, they are nothing more than Anarchists. Looking to destroy everything the Cascade has created since they made their appearance eleven years prior. The Caden have had a iron fist around the world for six years but there hasn't been a war since. Although cruel and they act as tyrants, they have kept the world at peace. The Resistance, although they fight for the world's greater good, take role as the villains and the Cascade are keepers of the peace through tyranny.
The "Villains", our human Resistance are actually Heroes. The "Heroes", the Cascade Military, are nothing but evil.

How does idea one sound? What about idea two?



'The Termina Hunters are a group of elite assassins in a less than real world. Year 2010 a epidemic broke out with a virus that literally killed anyone. Most people were born with it and was 100% infectious and 100% deadly. The human race seemed doomed.
The only way to stop the virus from progressing through the body was if the body was asleep. It was discovered when a comatose man died instantly after being woken. He, too, was infected, but being asleep also caused the virus to sleep within him. The answer was clear.
A advanced computer program was created called the "Terminal". It offered the most realistic artificial life ever and simulated real life for these people to live in while they sleep in permanent comas. Eventually real life was forgotten and nobody even knew it was all fake. Asleep within machines they lived their lives.
Hackers discovered the secrets to the Terminal and they were granted with extraordinary abilities. These individuals were hunted down by the secret government run by the Terminal itself and were given the choice. They could either take the death penalty or they could work for the Terminal as its pawns. They became trained killers, taking out contracts and doing the machines bidding. They hunted criminals and terrorists and kept a watchful eye over the world. The most secret killer coven ever, assassins that carry out the secret to life within the Terminal.
The virus slowly started waking from its sleep. It worked its way to the brain and found that it didn't have to kill off its host to wreck the havoc it desired. It found it was able to take over the hosts mind within the Terminal and it became a computer virus running on biological batteries. It could shift the host's body however it wanted and they became monsters. While this phenomenon is unheard of it is only a matter of time before they flood the streets as their hosts give into these monsters.
Will this Syndicate of assassins be able to keep peace within the machine or will the virus take over everything within the Terminal?'

A cross between the Matrix, Killer7, and that Wanted movie.
Basically about group of hackers acting as assassins within a virtual reality program, the only thing keeping them alive from a plague turned computer virus. That's all I really got to say about that. Lot of political stuff, stuff about a few fictional mafias and other groups and gangs.

I wouldn't mind being in that second one. I'd want to be one of the people that inadvertently helps the virus go form organic to digital. Instead of taking control of me, we'd share my body. So, my character is both himself and the virus.

Sounds like fun.

I posted this with the intent to post one of those ideas in the Main Hall.
Termina Hunters (Idea Two) is quite old and needs to be updated some and AntiCitizen-One (Idea One) could go for a little extra work, especially with an explanation post for this entirely different world and the ones who rule it. I would like to know which idea you fine folks like so I know which idea I should be working on.

I actually have AntiCitizen-One worked out to be a novel. I have characters, events, and the basic storyline plotted out and jotted down but I haven't even begun to write it.
What you mentioned was actually considered for later chapters. It came out to be a sickness, and later, something similar to a plague. While the Caden and Super-Humans were only capable of catching the sickness (Super flu!), regular humans with weak immune systems were capable of catching the super version of the super flu. Have you ever seen the movie '28 Weeks Later' or any others in that series? Similar to that, however they retained some intelligence and it couldn't be caught with direct contact with the infected. They became biological monsters. They were supposed to live in the sewers or similar areas, with Caden biohazard teams working down there 24/7.
I dropped the idea mostly because I was unsure how I could let something as potentially dangerous as a zombie plague just sit idly by in the drainage tunnels. That and I hadn't come up with a method for the monsters to have caught the plague in the first place. The sickness was just explained as molecular instability, because both the Caden and the heroes are genetically engineered humans as science in the 1960's weren't exactly up to 'snuff to today's standard (and even now we can't do this. So how can the Caden? Maybe they aren't using Earth science).

So, you like brainstorming. Do you think you can do anything more with what I've told you?

As for Termina, I'm unsure there too. I made that more than a year ago, and any notes would have been PM'd or saved onto my older account's journal which, unfortunately, was hacked.
Easy to say, we didn't even make it to the point where I had to think of that.
I suppose since they are able to break the bonds of the machine and bend reality to their will, they are granted some resistance. For example, in the 'Matrix', the Agent Smiths were unable to infect a single member of the resistance crew, although they worked really hard to convert/infect Neo in the second movie.

I can't say anything really to that, besides for what I have already said. I just really haven't thought of that yet. Err, does that help at all?
