Soon to be a major religion; Sixxology is basically, the belief that Nikki Sixx (bassist for Motley Crue, ex-Brides Of Destruction bassist and all round Rock-God) is in-fact God of all. Followers are encouraged to embrace a rock & roll lifestyle in homage to their ruler leader. The basic rules & guidelines are as follows:
01) There shall be no worshipping of anyone else above Nikki Sixx. He must be accepted as being greater than anyone else to walk this planet. (I'm hardly one to lecture on this, seeing as how my current obsession with a certain movie star means that I have not only broken this rule, but have jumped up & down on the pieces). Anyway, this is by far the most important rule.
02) Dressing like one of the many faces of Nikki Sixx is wholeheartedly encouraged. There are several different looks you can choose from:
For this, black hair-dye and copious ammounts of black eyeliner are a must.
03) Followers can show devotion by worshipping in several different ways:
+ Building shrines, containings candles/pictures etc. Just make sure that you don't burn your house down in the process.
+ Listening to Motley Crue daily. Brides Of Destruction will also suffice for this purpose.
04) Taking up the bass guitar is also a good way of showing your devotion. As are:
+ Indulging in carnal activities with groupies.
+ Drugs.
+ Near-death experiences.
05) The Dirt is the Sixxologists bible. It's word is law. Accept it & follow it. Precautions must be taken if any followers feel the need to act out any parts of the book (see Shout At The Devil, Chapter 6, page 114, a novel usage for a telephone receiver).
06) The special day in the Sixxologist calendar is the 11th of December. All manner of wild activities may be undertaken in celebration.
07) If any Sixxologists break any of the guidlines, and feel guilty enough to repent, a 24 hour Sixx-Respectathon may be undertaken. You may dress like Nikki, rock out to Motley Crue & get wasted.
