So this is where everyone can post petitions for the club. The idea here is if you have an idea for the Club, be it a change in poilcy, a request for a new sub-forum, or even the accepting or banning of members, put it here in the proper format (listed below). If you don't follow the rules for Petitioning, your petition may be ignored or deleted completely.
First off, form. The following post will be a sample form for a petition. Follow it for all petitions.
To sign a petition (showing your support of the idea) post the title of the petiton, in its petition thread, and say "I would like to sign this petition." Discussion as to why someone wants a certain petition signed should also be discussed in that petition's thread. If you don't agree with a petition, feel free to voice your opposition in a calm and respectful manner. Flaming a petition, even if its one to have you voted out of the Club, will be highly frowned upon (and in the case of it being one to have you voted out, it will guarantee your being banned.) Keep it clean folks.
Also, on the same note, make sure you have a respectable and valid reason for every petition, especially ones about banning members. Let's not see a lot of 'ban him/her because they called me a doodiehead!'. Let's try to be adult about this.
It is the petitioners job to keep up with their petition, dealing with any debates and editing it for signatures.
And lastly, please, no Polls on petitions. If your petition has a poll in it, it will be deleted and you'll have to start your petition over again.

Extra Notes
New Member Request: 3 Signatures.
Usage: For any and all Gaians that would like to join the Club.
Reason: I'd like to see people bringing in friends and not just getting Chatterbox Spammers. I know this feels elitist. It is. But if you really want someone to get in, three is not a whole lot.
Thread Removal: 6 Signatures.
Usage: Deleting an old or pointless thread.
Reason: If you're just plain sick of seeing something around here, petition to get rid of it.
New Subforum Request: 10 Signatures
Usage: Addition of a New Subforum.
Reason: If you really believe we need a new one, you're going to have to get some support. Remember, creating Subforums costs the Guild G, and I'm honestly not 100% if we can delete an unused subforum.
Rules Change: 10 Signatures, 1 Moderator
Usage: Having a rule changed, created or removed.
Reason: Don't like what you see here? Get it changed! I add the Moderator support on this one because any rules changes should have Mod approval. The Moderator can also be one of the ten signatures.
Ban a Member: 10 Signatures, AND 2 Moderators
Usage: Ban a Gaian from the Guild.
Reason: Alright, this is a severe one, hence needing the backing of 2 Mods. If someone is really being an outright nuisance or otherwise destructive to the Guild as a whole, by all means, petition for banning. You'll need the support of a good deal of people though. Unfortunately, I think I need to rule that Moderators, in the spirit of unbiased power, need to give approval independantly of the signatures. So Mod sig's don't count towards the 10.
