Welcome to my Saints roleplay. This is something I got after watching too many movies, playing too many games and after realizing that I suck at skateboarding and rollerblading so why not make a roleplay instead of making a fool out of myself.

This roleplay is about a guild that calls themselves Saints. The current leader or top dog in the guild is called Drake. His real name isn't known but that's the way it's going to be. Drake has a group of people, whom he pulled off the streets, gave them a home, helped them get a job and yet they stayed with him for one sole reason, he saved their lives. The guild, or the family they belong to has a couple of rules but it's more of common sense. No drugs allowed, no solo missions, only drinking with others and lastly remember one simple truth, you are loved.

This roleplay takes place in the future. Most major cities that your accustomed to are now ruins. Humanity has mannaged to survive a nuclear winter and learned to adapt. There are mutants out in the world but they usually stay within the larger ruins.

The roleplay has two focuses, one is the family, the guild. The second is the race. After the apocalypse when things were in the s**t hole, humanity managed to create a new manner of transportation. They call it Air Gears. Air Gears come in five forms. The most common form is the Board, the board has it's common three gears, then it has customized gears. A customized gear can be something that will either transform the board into one of the other four forms or it'll add heightened gears. Gears like speed limit breakers or NOS release. Other forms of Air Gears are: Air Treks (skates), Hover Bike, Zephyr Cart and Glider. More will be discussed in the Information section but what you need to know, is that with these new forms of transportation also came the street racing with a big prize.

Drake and his family particpate in these races and call themselves Saints.

Drake's home or rather the Guild's home is an old Cathedral that made it through all these years. The group has renovated and reinforced the building so it wouldn't fall down on them and made it become their new home. A large structure, two floors, rooms out back, kitchen down stairs, running water, garden outside, solar panels on the roof. Cozy and self-sufficient, just like the guild itself.

In this roleplay I am god, understand? Good.
There will be fights in the roleplay, just don't god-mode.
Unless I say it's ok, you cannot be a mutant.
If your part of the Guild then you know each other and respect each other.

This is a Semi-literate or higher roleplay. Meaning 5+ sentences per post.
I reserve the right to add, modify or drop rules as I see fit through the roleplay.
No, you cannot be a vampire, werewolf or elf.
This is sci-fi + Post apocaplyptic + semi-realstic + racing role-play.

I'm going to have a profile skeleton that will vary for each character.
Some characters might have a few things already in place. Just fill in the blanks.



Character Name: Drake - Leader.
Played by: Drey Malic
Appearance: Drake stands at about five foot ten, five foot eleven, somewhere there. He weighs about two forty muscle and he likes to show it off. He wears black sleevless shirts that show off his defined arms. Arms that each have a dragon tattooed around and down the arm to the hand. On the left hand the dragon's baring his teeth, and on the right it's breathing fire. Drake has tanned to darker skin with dread locks coming down to about shoulder length. His green eyes pierce through the bull s**t that others put up and sees you for what you are. Some say he's thirty, others say he's twenty, but he doesn't say how old he is. The last distinctive thing that you might see on drake is the belt on his pants. It's black and studded.
Acts: Drake acts like a father, a brother, a leader, a savior. He has a habit of smiling towards his family but never smiling towards others. His strength is the strength to protect and that's what he does. He's very protective of his family but he know how to give them slack and how not to control their lives. They can do what ever they wish, just as long as they come back.
Affinity: The marine is Drake's best friend, Mechie is his lover.
Gear: Drake rides what he calls Amakakeru also known as Heavenly. It's a Board with two custom slots that open up the gear to let Drake use tricks easier. Then a final slot that opens up the back of the board to bring out two thrusters and turn them on for the rest of the race.

Character Name: Hakubi Hikicter - Wise
Played by: Kyground
Appearance: Hakubi stand at about five foot five and is of average build. He has a relatively fair complexion and shorter hair that reaches the very top of his ears. His pale blue eyes kind of accent his dirty blonde hair. Being so short, many suspect he is either a child or teenager, and Hakubi likes to keep them guessing. He tends to wear form fitting clothing mostly for racing purposes. His belt is always incredibly tight during a race. Having them get caught in his treks and destroying his face is not something he is eager to have happen. He has no other identifying marks aside from the random scar or two.
Acts: Hakubi is very loud and impulsive most of the time. He says that sanity is overrated and likes to mess with people just to see their reactions. Hakubi often acts younger, which has it's charms on women. He can be all intellectual and brainy when he wants to be, or has to be, but it's much less fun for him.
Affinity: Kind of seeks to keep the Saints from killing themselves or each other.
Gear: Air treks - Has three slots, each of them filled. He possesses S - Magnetic Traction, S - Wall Ride, and W - S. Boom.

Air Gears

The different gears

-Boards
These are the starter gears. They're shaped like futuristic skateboards that hover over the ground. Depending how thick a board is means if it can change into one of the other gears. A board can change into trecks, bikes and gliders. They cannot change into carts.

-Treks
These are normally worn by riders who fell in love with speed. They come in contact with the ground and have the standard ability to grind. Along with that, Treks have the most torque, acceleration and highest mortality rate out of all the gears. When your moving at over three hundred miles an hour on the fifth lap to be first, even the slightest error could end up being your last.

-Bikes
These are normally used by riders who want to destroy things in their wake. Bikes are sturdy and have a really good motion for stability. Bikes also have the standard ability of rescue, when a fellow rider goes down, a biker can pick 'em up and take them to the finish line. Bikes are the only gears that can become carts.

-Carts
These are used by the cautious or by the deadly. Carts have various attributes. They can smash through several objects and not worry about hurting the driver. Carts can't perform tricks so they lack in that area of the race, but they have the standard abilities of rescue, demolishion and Barrier. Normal gears have a starting three gears and then three slots for custom gears. Carts have six standard gears and four custom slots for support and two custom slots for weaponizing.

-Gliders
These are used by dare devils. Gliders don't touch the ground like boards but they also require the rider to lay down. Gliders are shaped like manta rays. Wings coming off of the main part of the board with two thrusters underneath each wing. Gliders are the only ones who can use Mid-air jet streams. They carve the air with such force that it becomes a path behind them. Anything caught in it will be tossed in the air like a rag doll. Gliders have the Jet Stream ability.

The parts & abilities

These gears are known for having abilities as they're called. Some of the most interesting abilities are the ones that change the gear from it's original into something new. But don't start thinking that you need to start off with a board. There are gears that start as Treks, Bikes, Carts or Gliders.

The following is a list of Abilities or Parts that can be added to a gear's Custom Slots. These parts and abilites, all of these are just guidelines. DO NOT FEEL LIMITED TO ONLY USE THESE. MAKE YOUR OWN ABILITIES AND PARTS.

Basics
B- Speed Break (All): Increases top speed
B- Acelerate Break (All): Increases Acelleration
B- Endurance Break (All): Reinforces Endurance
B- Trick Break (Board, Treks, Bike, Glider): Makes performing Tricks easier.

Weaponize
W- Oil Spill: Heavily detremental to land gears
W- E. Bomb: Drops an electro-magnetic pulse bomb that shuts down all gears for a short time.
W- S. Strip: Static Strip, slows down gears that come in contact with it.
W- W. Smoke: Large release of smoke to blind foes
W*- F. Blaze (treks): A mix of braking and acellerating that makes a flash blaze, fires last a short time but enough to ward off enemies. Mixed with Oil spill this can be very dangerous.
W*- F. Bomb (Bike & Cart): Drops a mix of fragmentation and flash bombs on the field behind.
W*- S. Boom (Gliders & Treks): Short burst of speed that breaks the sound barrier only to hit those ahead of them with a sonic boom.



The race

Races are simple. They take place in two places, either a built track by the AGC (Air Gear Corporation) or a designated track decided by the competitors. If the race is on an AGC track there are rules and regulations that have to be followed. If it's on a free track or a street race, well rules dissappear when the light turns green.

An AGC track race has five laps, First lap is called Break away, Second Lap is called Engage - the start of the battle on the track, when and where the riders fight it out. Third lap is called Critical Mass - this lap has a 73% injury rate for those who are battling, and 15% of those 73% are mortally fatal injuries. The fourth lap is called Dis-engage, its when riders try to break away from their fights and start to go into full out racing. The last lap is called Full Throttle, do what ever it takes to win. Perform triks for the judge points. Speed up to be first in line. Smite your foes to leave them trailing.

Street races or free races are usually single shot races from point A to point B. Anything goes.
