Letter
Dear Friend, How are you? Sorry I haven't gotten around to talk to you lately. And I'm sorry for doing this to you, but if you've opened this letter then you've already fallen under my spell to persuade you into reading the rest of this Letter... Or is it simply my amazing charm that has won you over? Doesn't matter which it was, the matter of the fact is simple. I'm in trouble and I need your help. Actually I need more then just help, I need your commitment and your wanting for adventure...
For the past year I've been investigating a distinct cult of worshippers. At first they passed as normal folk, but after a bit of digging something just seemed odd. They were into ancient artifacts and old story legends. They were into the kind of things that the bards would tell to scare little children from venturing out in the world. But the more they broadened their search, the more evident it became to me that there was a bit of truth behind alot of the stories that they were fantasizing about. What's scary though, is that the littlest of the truth of this story is enough for the cult and it's followers to discover ground breaking evidence, Evidence of the beasts of lore.
I'll get into more detail later on, but about the phase of a moon past they were making their enterance into the public eye. They managed to lure and hook the King of Greshvale into their magics and then used his mountainous citadel to start a ritual to summon forth one of those beasts. I managed to infultrate their ranks and put a tight cork in their plans. It was a hash choice though. They now know of me and half sent several 'missionaries' to rid me of this world. I'm not worried about their assassins, but at this rate I will not be able to fight them back. I'm sorry if this is too much to ask, but please will you help me put a quick end to these... Lunatics?
Your Friendly Prophet ~Luccas Wrighteye.
P.S. I'm sending this to you, and five others. Meet me at the ole olive Tavern in Tarrisol - south of the border from Greshvale and east of Damascus.

FAQ How strong are the characters? The characters should be Mildly strong, nothing immense for the beginning. They will get stronger as the story progresses. That should be a strong hint to you, make it so that your characters can grow within the story. Either making them faster, stronger, wiser, and or more defined.
Do the characters know each other? Well presuming that they're friends, I'm going to ask that they all know Issac, as for the others, that's up to you.
Do the characters have to get along? I'm not going to say that they all have to get along, but I will say that you have to be in some sort of way compatible with each other. I don't want a brawl to break out if your not supervised 24/7.
How old should the characters be? The characters should be adults, their level of maturity is up to you. Don't you dare send me a Profile with a character being under eighteen, that will be an immediate rejection. Which mind you, if I don't like your profile, I'll either tell you where to fix it up or I'll tell you to go home cause it sucks.
Should we post or pm the profiles? You should PM your profiles, with a Mr. green icon somewhere in there. Perferablly at the bottom or at the top before your profile. If you want to reserve a spot, PM ME. I'm very generous.
Do the characters have to be human? No they don’t have to be human, but nothing beastly [unless your applying for the beast role], so elves, vamps, were wolves and some demons are allowed.
Do you have an OoC Thread? Not yet, I'm working on that. Until I do, feel free to post here.
On our profiles, do we use anime or real pictures? Up to you really, they both make me smile. I will actually be writing out a description for my character and not use pictures and that is probably my favorite form of depiction.
Can I use modern weapons? Only if your using the anti-mage character.
What roles are there? Warrior, Scorcerer, Beast, Mercenary, Ranger and Anti-mage.
What if I don't like the roles you have up? Can I send you a profile for some one else? Yes, There are four categories for people. Friend, Acquaintance, Stranger, Nemesis. That's in an order of good to bad from left to right. There are only seven Friend roles but an Acquaintance can become a friend, so can a stranger and even a Nemesis.

Rules No godmoding, no autohitting, no invincible characters. During fights though, do make the fights interesting, take a hit here and there, dodge a few and keep it fun to read. I don't expect you to take heavy hits from goblins, but I also don't expect you to dodge every attack thrown at you by a boss. Yes, there will be boss fights in this roleplay. Might I add, Bosses are not won single handedly.
No cybering, no nudity; at least nothing obvious. I don't want a moderator coming to my thread and telling me that I'm instigating sexually explicit things on my thread; WHICH I AM NOT. God Teenagers and your hormones. I mean really, if you're that much of a whack job that you have to get off to text... well go find a chatroom and stay there. Don't bring here to gaia.
Literacy, I want to see at least a paragraph per post. I don't want to say post like this or like that, but keep in mind I don't want to see six paragraphs of ten lines each, with sentences that are the same length. Some people call that literacy, I call that Idiocy. Pick up a Stephen King book, read the first ten pages, tell me are all of his paragraphs the same length? All the sentences the same length? And yet do you dare to call him illiterate? Point proven. As long as you can post something good enough for others to post after you then your ok.
Follow the Gaian TOS and what ever I might say, Mind you I AM GOD... in this roleplay. Oh and those of you who are ignorant and don't know what you agreed to when you joined Gaia. Well, the terms of service can be summed up in a quick phrase. Don't be a dumbass jerk. Kthnxbai. This rule reminds me of something. If you have a personal problem with a fellow roleplayer on this thread... Just keep it away from my roleplay all together. That includes my OoC thread.
When you decide to send me your Profile, Title your PM 'Friendship' and don't forget to add what I told you to add a while ago!
Please, when it comes to cussing; I don't care if you do just don't make it too much. Unless! It's to make things work with your character. Like if your character's pirate or a sailor and well then they'd have a sailor's mouth and that's just always accepted.
This is a long term roleplay so only join if you know you can stay to it. I Emphasis this rule the most. If you can't stick to a roleplay for longer than a month, then hit the back button and forget that this roleplay exsists. This roleplay is fun and I have an awesome plot line for it but it needs ALL the starting characters. If you join and vanish... well that just screws me the ******** over.

Characters Friends |1| Warrior :: Soldier :: Paladin :: Knight Defensive Hero who's aged with war and battles. This is one of those friends who you call on when your going into battle and you know your going to fight a lot of guys. But you call on them not because they'll do enough damage, but because they'll take all the damage and just brush it off. Male or Female || Open || Reserved for: || Played by: ||
|2| Scorcerer :: Spell-Caster :: Summoner :: Mage Distance and Assualt Hero who's adept at using magic. One way of discribing this hero would be distance and assualt but probably the best way of describing them would be calling them a Nuke. They deal extreme damage from a distance with magic and over an area of effect. They don't have to target one foe, but they rather to just pick a certain area of effect and send down a meteor shower or a hail storm at that spot. A Female. || Open || Reserved for: || Played by: ||
|3| Beast :: Demon :: Creature :: Halfling Powerful hero who will cause pain. If the first hero was all about defense then this one is all about destroying what's in their path. The beast can stand, taunt and exchange blows with the strongest of them all. Not that they'll just brush off the hits that they take but they'll cause the same or even more damage. In simple... a brute. Male || Open || Reserved for: || Played by: ||
|4| Ranger :: Hunter :: Scout :: Poacher Distanced and Lethal hero who can be titled as lethal. This friend will aid you from a distance. They can help spot enemies out from miles away and pick them off before they become a nuisance. This kind of Hero will aim their bow/crossbow/bowgun/gun at a foe and it's game over. Male or Female || Open || Reserved for: Kryground || Played by: ||
|5| Mercenary :: Oriental :: Ninja :: Pirate Lethal hero who is quite possibly the only one who can compare to the Ranger. The mercenary is fast, agile and deadly. By the time you see them it'll be too late. They can't take too many hits but that's only if they actually get a hit in. Between this hero and the Ranger, they have a bit of a rivalry to see who can get the most kills in one battle. Male || Open || Reserved for: || Played by: ||
|6| Spellbreaker :: Alchemist :: Engineer :: Anti-mage Defensive and Supportive hero, someone who will never stand next to the scorcerer. This is a hero who knows how to cancel magic and uses defensive magic. Barriers, chants, protective spells and strengthening spells. She and the Mage... well they just don't get along. It's like yin and yang... but not so close. Female || Open || Reserved for: || Played by: ||

Short Stories This is a part of the thread that's completely optional. This is for you to make a short story about how your character and Issac first met. My only requirement is that you make it more than ten paragraphs.
