“Yo-ho yo-ho a pirate’s life is me!”
A pirate’s life consists of plundering cities of all they have, of destroying other ships and taking their booty, and of sailing their ships through out the world. It’s all nice and exciting for a pirate to be like this, but what if one calls for a greater meaning?
This same question was asked about fifty years ago…
“Yar matey let me tell ya lads the story of the pirates known as the red beards.
The red beards were lead by cap’tain Morgan or also known as Red Beard the great. This pirate had at one point asked himself what happens when a pirate has done all he can do. How is he remembered? Cap’tain Morgan then decided something that would shake the world. He decided to become King of the pirates and mark his name in book of history.
It took him twenty years to finish the task and in doing so he gathered more gold, more pleasures and more power then anyone on this wretched world. It was the year that he finished it; he came to a stop and was finally caught by the marines.
His execution came and was marked. He was taken to the capital of the world to be killed. The world itself came to see Cap’tain Morgan and hear his final words.
At first he had none but then the crowd yelled and all asked the same question. “Where did you hide the treasure?!”
Morgan replied. “You ask for my treasure? If you want it, go forth and search for it! I left all of it in O-!”
Before he could give its exact whereabouts, Morgan was killed. He was killed with a smile on his face. There was no regret, no loss, and the first person in history to be killed with a smile on his face.”
Now in this world so wretched and chaotic pirates have a greater meaning. They now reach their hands out to grasp in their hands, the mighty treasure of Red Beard and to be proclaimed as the Second Pirate King.

Geography- The world where this role-play takes place is in a world much like our own but still severely different. Instead of there being continents that people live in. There are only islands. Islands that vary in size but none that are large enough to be called a continent.
Each of these Islands is a nation of it but then comes the question of what is the major authority of the world if the world is divided into islands. Among these Islands there is an alliance by the name of “United Alliance” The United Alliance is funded by over two hundred Islands of the known three hundred.
In this world there is also something you should know. Here there is what’s called the seven seas. Five of these Seas are well known to the man kind, The North Sea, the blue sea, the calm sea, the black sea and the red sea. Of these seas, the weakest sea is that of the blue sea and the strongest is that of the calm sea. As for the two unknown seas, their names are ‘The Sea of storms and the open sea.’ The sea of storms is not that of a vast sea, but it’s a sea of too much tribulation for any ship to set sail upon. The Open Sea is a sea that was said to have only been sailed by the Red beard Pirates and it is there that they believe that the treasure is. The only problem is that the Open Sea has no magnetic field and its waters are in constant upheaval. Though this sea is to have the treasure of Red Beard, the chances of one surviving these waters, are one to zero.
Where to begin
This role-play starts off in the tavern called ‘the ole little olive,’ a little tavern in an island on the blue sea. Here is where the pirates called ‘the winter pirates’ are staying for the mean time. What will you do? Will you meet these pirates and join them? Will you inform the Marines and have they come to take these pirates away? Or will you make a pirate crew of your own and call out these pirates? Then again, aren’t you part of their crew? Your fate is in your hands.

Powers
Like all other fantasy role-plays, there has to be some sort of powers. This one is not too different. You can very well have a special power, but they come at a cost.
Powers are attained through something called a sea stone. There are an infinite amount of sea stones but there are no two sea stones that are the same. With that, there are three sea stones that do not exist; there is no sea stone for wind, water or ice. Lastly, the punishment for having a power is that once one has a sea stone power, they then become stones themselves. If you fall in water, you instantly fall to the depth of the seas without resistance, and will not be able to come back up without the help of someone or something.
One more note, if one attempts to have more then one power from a sea stone then the part of stone becomes even more relevant. A person who uses two sea stones instantly becomes a stone statue.
Oh and here are the three generalized types of stones.
Tylaz – A stone allows you to take form of a beast to any sort of level that you wish. These stones are generally very specific beast.
Drosaz – These type of stones allow the user to use sort of element. These stones are generally very specific element. Such as Lightning only uses lightning, Sand only uses sand. (Please be careful when picking this one)
Menaz – These types of stones allow the user’s body to alter in some manner and give the user very strong abilities. These are as well very specific. If you use the bone stone you can manipulate your bones but not your skin.
What about magical Items?
This will be hard to factor in but I’ll allow a few of them. As long as they don’t make any drastic changes in something then I’ll allow it. Oh and if your character is a ‘magician’ then you’ll have to give me some ideas of their magical abilities. Remember, for every gain there has to be a loss.
Races
I’ll accept the races of Human, Elven, Undead and Vampire. All other races must be attained from the Tylaz stones.
What if I want to be a Captain of a different Crew?
Then state in your profile that you’re a captain and that you have a different ship. Along with this, you have to come up with a complete description of your own ship, either through paragraph form or through image.
Does the ranking in the ship have anything to do with power?
No! For all I care, the Look out can be stronger then the Captain. The only difference in ranks is that one, the person as Captain MUST has to be obeyed, and that the one doing a job has to be good at the job they do.
What sides are there?
Well you can be a Pirate, a Marine, a government official or a United Alliance Ambassador.
What jobs are there in a pirate ship?
Captain, First mate, Navigator, Look out, Shipwright, Blacksmith, Carpenter, Doctor, Cook, Nurse, Waiter/waitress, Storyteller/Bard, Musician, Gunner, Entertainer/performer, Assassin, Spy, Raider and much more.
Tell me a little more about the seas.
Well as stated before there are seven seas. The North Sea, the blue sea, the calm sea, the black sea, the red sea, the sea of storms and the open sea.
The North Sea is as the name predicts, it’s a Sea located to the north of the world. There is where one of the larger Islands and the U.A. head quarters lies. It’s a very cold climate and is generally a lot of frozen tundra.
The blue sea is simply a much laid back region. The islands are there more for their own personal reasons and this is just a very relaxing place. This is also the region that is known for its lowest crime rates among all the regions.
The calm sea is the region of ocean that has been declared as the deadliest place. One of the reasons for this is because it’s located between the Black sea and the sea of storms which causes its waters to be unnaturally calm. Though this may sound good, it attracts the strongest and deadliest of sea creatures known to man kind. Things like the Kraken can’t even be compared as a shrimp to the monstrosities that reside in this region of the sea.
The black sea is a sea recognized for its water depths. A sea known for not having a bottom and the Islands in this sea are simply regarded as Cliffbacks- or Islands that have no sandy shores, instead they have cliffs on all sides, making it so that it’s very hard to stop and take port on these Islands.
The red sea is located on the other side of the world that the blue sea is located and unlike the Blue Sea, it’s well known for its crime rates and for having places where pirates find residence. This sea is by far the most corrupt sea. Here you can expect to find prostitution, gambling, killing, rioting, slavery and much more.
The sea of storms, is there anything else that is needed to be said? This sea is in a constant amount of turmoil and has a constant rampage of storms. There has been only one person who entered this sea and came back. His name was Captain Morgan of the Red beard Pirates.
The open sea is a very peculiar sea. It’s by far the largest sea and stretches from the tips of the blue, black, and Clam Sea, all the way to the red sea. Here in this sea, there is no one single magnetic pulse. Instead there are hundreds of magnetic pulses from the islands that inhabit the Open Sea. This is one sea that has no definite map and normal compasses don’t function here. There is currently in history, only one who has ever sailed the entire Open Sea and his name was Captain Morgan of the Red beard Pirates.

1.] This role-play is literate, meaning a paragraph per post. Writer’s block? Don’t give me that B.S. Every one can write at least a good three sentences per post no matter what.
2.] No one is god, meaning you can’t simply say that you dodge every attack thrown at you and you also can’t hit someone on every attempt made.
3.] A pirate’s eyes love to see lust and beauty but please, if you must cyber, don’t do it on the thread and try to keep this thread going.
4.] Like all other role-plays, the owner wants it to keep going for a long time. So what I ask, is if you join this role-play, please only join knowing that you can role-play at least twice a week. Please and thank you.
5.] I personally don’t like to bump, but I’ll accept it on a minor scale. Like seeing if anyone is on. To try and make other people join but don’t just bump because your bored.
6.] To join this role-play you have to do a few things. One, PM your profile to me. Two, Title the PM as an answer to this question, “Can a pirate beat a ninja?”
7.] Lastly, I uphold the rule to be able to add on rules if I see fit, but do believe me, I won’t be an a** about this. All of these rules are very solid and most-likely won’t bend/alter/change.

Talents & Abilities: Joshua has the velocity stone which grants him unparallel speed. Joshua also has about twenty years experience with fighting, sailing and pirating.
Weapons and Items: Joshua carries with him a shamshir named frostbite for it’s white color and it gives off a cold aura. Not too cold but it can make small amounts of water freeze. He also has a single pistol in his right holster that has only six bullet slots.
Personality: Captain Joshua is well known for being a pirate who accepts women aboard as long as they look good. In simple, he’s recognized as the pervert but also known for making his crew his family. Over the course of his life, very few have ever denied him as a good captain.
That isn’t it though; Joshua isn’t all that much of a good guy. Why do you think he’s called white fury? This captain has a tendency to snap at times and just go off on a killing spree. Most of the time it’s just on marines but there are a couple of times before he has snapped on his crew.
Brief History: Joshua has been out at sea as a pirate for the past sixteen years. He has been a captain for ten years and is determined to become pirate king. Which is probably why he’s so close to finding Red beard’s treasure?
As for other information, he currently has a bounty of fifty million shikai – A decent amount of bounty – but that’s just because he hasn’t started to act.
Appearance: Joshua Stands at five foot eleven, is about two hundred ten pounds and has yellow eyes and is clothing is all white.

Talents & Abilities: Hawkins possesses a seastone that gives him control of wood. He's also fairly lithe in a battle and has great reflexes and dexterity.
Weapons and Items: Uses a Schiavona style rapier that has been modified with a longer blade. Rather than the usual 33 inches, this blade is about 38 inches long. Hawkins also has an earring in his left ear.
Personality: Hawkins is usually quite loud. Someone who slaves over a stove a good deal of the day needs to have some excitement. But Hawkins is very good spirited and is often the one to settle any disputes if the Captain or First Mate isn't around. Hawkins can't stand to see a woman cry, but still doesn't like when they make port and all he can find are prostitutes.
Brief History: Hawkins was working as a cook in a crappy tavern on some forsaken island for a few years. His father was a stinking drunk and his mother was one of the prostitutes he has just so much respect for. Needless to say, he tried to stay away from home as much as possible. But then, the pirates came. And he left, happily.
Hawkins has a decent bounty for a cook. Considering that he isn't a bad fighter, he usually joins in with the raids. Hawkins' bounty is about five hundred thousand Shikai. Being a member of the Thousand Winters bumps it up a little...
Appearance: Hawkins stands at about five feet tall with an fun eight inches to boot. He weighs about one hundred and sixty two pounds with hazel eyes and tends to wear exactly what's in the picture.

General Appearance – this is a ship that’s relatively small in length and height but is a good four decks high. A ship with a complete white paint job and has three masts. One mast in the center is the biggest and the main mast, a second mast being in front of the main mast and is much smaller in size and width, the third mast resembles the second mast (each mast is a light blue in color).
Upper deck- A ship with a very clean deck and doesn’t have too much on the deck besides a few strapped on barrels on the side and then five stairs. Two that lead to the bow of the ship, two that lead to the helm and then one in the center that leads to the lower decks.
Lower deck – These are the storage deck, the artillery deck or the sleeping quarters. First is the sleeping quarters but because of the rough waters and the unstable sea, there are no set beds. Instead to accommodate for the unstable sea, you’re sleeping in hammocks that have a soft cushion and blankets. Then comes the artillery deck which only has four cannons on either side. Not much but for such a small ship, you can’t ask for too much. Lastly is the storage deck. This is the most essential part of the ship because of what’s inside of it. Yes it is mainly food, rum, weapons and artillery but there is something on this part that makes this ship eccentric. In the middle of this ship there is a furnace. Yes, rather dangerous and very odd to have something like this in a ship but it’s very well protected from the rest of the ship. This furnace is then used to power a paddle system on the ship and too send hot air through a series of pipes and vents through out the ship which keeps its passengers and crew members all in a warm condition.
Battle gear – As stated before this ship only has four cannons on its sides but this ship also has a secondary use for it. On the upper deck this ship has one Gatling gun on either side of the bow. Though it’s very new equipment and its ammunition is scarce, Joshua has been collecting enough to take down an entire army. Then along with all this, there is one more cannon poised on the bow that divides the space between the Gatling guns, this cannon is extremely long and has a gigantic range along with accuracy unlike any other.
