Personality: Kira is a very easy going person, the sort of person who doesn't look for fights or cause them without the need to do so. However if Kira does become involved in a fight or a problem, he can stay with it to the conclusion or even afterwards if he needs to. He isn't one to purposefully hurt anyone, though if you have crossed him he will become a very rude and crass person towards whoever it is has crossed him. Kira is very loyal to the members of his squad, and is willing to go to bat for them until he finds out that doing so is not good for him, or that doing so would get in the way of someone resolving some sort of problem between who he's standing up for and another person. All in all Kira has been called a cat by those who know him well.

Physical Description: Kira may not be 'big' muscular wise, but he is not someone to be taken lightly. Where Kira lacks his physical strength he makes up with speed and agility, as well as endurance. Kira is a very evenly built person with white hair that would come to about a little under his shoulder blades if he let it fully out. Normally he wears his hair in a braid that he alternates over his shoulder or down his back. He has green blue eyes and sort of pale.

Ability: Genei no Arashi ni Meijiru Hito, while in Shikai form becomes a spear that is able to pull the reishi around the tip into blades of wind that can cut through anything, save for denser reishi. Genei no Arashi ni Meijiru Hito also has the ability to engulf anyone or thing in it's path in a fierce hurricane like attack.

Bio: While Kira was still alive he was apprenticed to a sword maker of reasonable obscurity, but of great skill that was sought by samurai who preferred quality and pure workmanship and individuality rather than having some famous swords smith make their swords. As the sword smith's apprentice, Kira learned the trade and eventually became a noted sword maker in his own right and took over his master's practice, and began to make swords that rivaled even those that were created by the sword masters in Edo. After a while, Kira learned basic swordsmanship, mainly as a way to improve the quality of his swords, but one day Kira was slain by former samurai who had been employed by a rival sword master who thought that by eliminating Kira, they would be the go to sword maker.
Upon death, Kira stayed in the Rukongai for quite some time before being accepted into the Soul Society after he proved that his level of reiryoku was sufficient to do so. As both a budding swordsman and a talent sword maker in his past life, Kira became quite adapt at the zanpakuto training. During his time as a student he gained something of a reputation for his aparent cat like quality. While his training in kido wasn't much to talk about, he did seem to do well whenever he managed to find a trick that would acommidate his need.**
