This thread is dedicated to the preservation of TRUE METAL. Something that has over the years, along with several other things, been on the decline. For future generations and for our own enjoyment, all those who have a taste for TRUE METAL may post their favorite TRUE METAL bands here and we will decide as a conclave whether they are worthy or not. At the point of worthiness, I shall add them to the list. (Or whenever I get my a** back here to read it and then around to updating.)

TRUE METAL: Music belonging to the heavy metal genre with lyrics that you can easily understand that aren't about s**t like the environment or world peace. Music about hate and sex and drugs and rock'n'roll and conflict and strife and true feeling.

(Short list so far...help me think of more that need to be up here. By the way, ACDC? Maybe? I know they say it's rock 'n' roll but at the very least it's the pioneering of heavy metal.)
