All Arrancar own their own rooms, as the rules for the Espada are the following:

Those who are only able to open the door is Akira, the respective Espada, and anyone who is given permission to, as well as higher Espada. The walls do prevent other Arrancar and Hollows from outside from spying on conversations or breaking through them. All rooms are built in the same manner, and it is completely locked at night so that only the one inside can open it. These special locks apply to all rooms, unless if the current resident of the room chooses to allow anyone at all in by removing the lock. Also, each Espada has 1 foot more of area in their room than the Espada that has an immediate lower rank, working all the way downwards by a foot from 1 to 9, while 10 has the largest room of the Espada.

Vizard rooms are also in the same system as Espada, however all are given the maximum amount of space for their rooms. They too have special locks that do allow all Espada in during the day time, but like for all of the other rooms, no one else is allowed in at night, unless given permission by the current owner of the room.

Miscellaneous Arrancar are meant to sleep indoors of the castle Akira created, around the area and are also not allowed into the Espada rooms unless given permission. Otherwise they are meant to sleep with all of the other Arrancar, free to die if they sleep unguarded.
