- So we need more activity in TLOEM's subforums. Including this subforum. So I'm holding a contest.
A comic contest.
You don't have to be skilled in art to enter, nor do you have to be skilled in art to win.
The premise?
Recreate, in comic form, your favorite TLOEM moment.
Could be the moment you find funniest, could be the creation of your favorite TLOEM running gag, could just be the moment you find to be most epic. Could be whatever the hell you want as long as it's a moment in TLOEM that you enjoy.
Don't have one yet? Then you can recreate, in comic form, your favorite thread from the Epic Archive.

Rules for entering
1. One entry per member.
2. Contest is open on August 1st. Deadline is August 15th. Judging ends August 20th.
3. Create your own comic, don't have someone else make it for you.
4. Keep it lighthearted.
5. Follow TLOEM's rules and Gaia's ToS and rules and whatnot.
P.A.Q. (Possibly asked questions)
- I can't draw can I still enter? Yes, yes you can. Your skill in art is not going to matter. (Unless you want to be considered for the "Most Interesting Art Style" mini-prize, even then it you don't have to necessarily be skilled, your style just has to be interesting to us.) You can draw stick figures if you want.
- Can I create a comic using pasted images of avatars with speech bubbles? Sure! Sprite comics can be pretty ******** funny themselves in their own special way. Just remember to try to do something interesting and entertaining with it, don't just paste avatars in their regular old poses in each panel.
- How many winners will there be? There will be one first place winner, one second place winner, one third place winner, and one runner up. There'll be mini-winners too, as in people who will win "Most Interesting Art Style", "Most interesting execution", and "Most liked moment". (One person could win more than 1 category, like someone could win 2nd place and also win "Most interesting execution" as well.) There'll also be Kiri's choice and probably other mods choice.
- How will the contest be judged? By poll if possible. If there are too many entries for a poll then we'll have people PM votes. The sub-categories' winners will be delegated by the crew. c:
- Soooo.. What kinda comic will be most likely to win? We're looking for the FUNNIEST, really.
- But what are the prizes?
First Place wins 150k and a mini-comic about them by a surprise artist, Second Place wins 50k and avatar art by a surprise artist, and Third Place wins 25k.
The winners of the subcategories, the runner-up, and the winners of each participating mod's choice will get 5k each.
- How do I enter? PM your comic to Nurse Kiri. I'll put the comics up as "Entry # ___" so there's no playing favorites.
- Who's providing the prizes? Me, it's my gold you'll be winning. xD
