Diary of Arthur Flint
October 4th
As you know i have been living in fear since my death, trapped in the town i lived in for so many years and hunted by those i used to call friends, still atleast bella still loves me she visited my tomb again today i consided showing myself, but it would only upset her. Today I recived a letter with a fantastic idea, to create a city where all beings can live in peace, without persicution. Tommorow im going outside to meet this mysterious stanger and discuss his idea further, i know it seems sudden, but where i was timid in life i wont be in death.

Diary of Arthur Flint
October 5th
Victor Redmond, that is the name of the man who will kill me. Today i met him in the woods near the cemetary, he was the one who sent me that letter yesterday. I was worried at first but as i walked into the clearing i could see he was like me, dead but still alive. He introduced himself and told me how he was looking for someone like me, then he told me his idea, to build a city where all creatures of this world could live in peace. Of course i agreed to help him instantly, then he told me his plan. He had found a deserted city up north that was inhabitable due to something he called radiation, he said that humans die from it and we dont do to well either. I asked him how to get rid of the radiation an he said there was one way to get rid of the radiation and that was to make a deal with the devil to make it safe. he asked me to go with him and i agreed to help him. We leave tommorow.

October 9th
weve been walking for almost 3 days strait, i asked victor why he'd been looking for someone like me and at first he avoided the question, but after asking a few more times he told me. Victor said that when he first woke up he was scared and he'd attacked some people who'd got in his way, he told me that i was one of those people. first i was angry, he'd killed me but then came back, but i held back, the victor i knew didnt kill me. after a long pause i asked him to continue, he looked shocked that i could overlook my own murder, he told me how most of the people he'd bitten lost their minds and when they were resurrected went on rampage. he told me how he'd killed these ferals trying to make up for their creation, i realise now he'd probaly sought me out to kill me too. he said that by making this paradise he could make ammends for what he'd done.

October 11th
The last 24 hours have been hectic, we found the gateway deep under the park like victor said. He began preparing the archway so that it could be turned back on, and while he was doing that i explored the catacombs its odd that the citys deserted but the catacombs seem to have been recently used. Its also strange that down one of the seemingly endless passages there is a door with no handle and a carving of a skull, i asked victor about it and he said it lead to the tombs of important people but he looked busy so i didnt press him. After what seemed like hours victor finished and began some incantation, a portal opened and although it didnt stabilise i thought is saw a city throught the arch. Victor is going to get more supplies and i am to guard the gateway while he's gone.

This'll be my last entry before entring hell, Victor says its not safe for you so im gonna leave you in the church with bella's ring and sir pennington. Victor also says the devil lives in the royal palace so thats where weve got to go. he also gave me a sword and said its just for show, apparently demons are less likly to attack us if we carry weapons.

The two men entered the court around midday, both were wearing rags. The first, later identified as Arthur Flint, had a broken leg and was holding up the second, Victor Redmond, who was wearing a make shift sling, the pair approached the king and pleaded with him to help them to create 'paradise'. The king agreed on two conditions: first, upon death their souls would go directly to him, standard procedure with all of the king's deals. The second being that one of them remain in hell until the completion of the deal. after a quick disscussion between the two they agreed and elected Arthur to stay while victor went back. after the kings departure with victor, arthur was given a placement in the place as one of the kings bodyguards, so he could be watched directly at all times.
upstairs in the observatory, the king had given victor the power to clense the city. all he had to do was take a human to the city and place his hand on their head and they would absorb a good amount of the radiation. to make sure he was able to complete the task, the king made him invunrable to the radiation. with his new ability victor was sent back to his city to make his paradise.

November 7th
i used my new power for the first time today. The human i chose was from a nearby village, she walked past me on the street when i was doing my act, the one where i pretend to be a beggar, she blanked me so i followed her home and dragged her back to the city. I looked right in her eyes as i placed my hand on her head, she became really old right infront of me she was still standing, eyes vacant, mouth open. Thinking she was dead i took the gag out of her mouth and she turned her head at first i thought it was my imagination but no i created a feral without biting them. This power is perfect, and unlike that idiot arthur this new slave doesnt have any morals, the perfect weapon.

january 1st
Nearly 2000 souls have been sacrificed, im running out of room in the catacombs, luckily most of the buildings have basements. i was visited by a demon last night he told me that the king would be sending someone to check on my progress he also told me that when the radiation dissapears within city limits, i would lose my power. tommorow im going to move the rest of the barrels of waste into the tomb and lead line it, then im going to open the gates and this time ill let anyone enter, finally i'll select a council to manage the city while i make more soldiers.

the city dispite its appearence is extremly well guarded, i went to city hall as thats the place where the city's council reside. the council consists of two people from the main five races. the coucil took me on a guided tour of the city, from the university to the harbour all the time protected by at least six guards. i used the provided giga counter and sealed tubes to take samples of the area, there seems to still be some radiation remaining. i have yet to see Redmond, the council tells me hes away on buisness but i can sense him underground. tonight im going to investigate the parts of the city that are off limits to the public.

June 6th
its over its all over i killed a demon with my power he just turned to ash right before my eyes. i just thought he was another sacrafice trying to get me to stop, how was i to know who he was. as soon as i touched him i knew it was wrong, i felt the earthshake and then silence. i waited to see what would happen but there was nothing, so i went outside to inspect my army and they were gone, i ran to down the passage franticly looking for the ferals, i went to the surface and infront of me stood over 5000 ferals hands red with the blood of the citizens and there in the center of the oak tree park was the council, their bodies, each impaled onto the branches of the great oak. this will cause an international incident when it gets out. i have decided to hide, im going to order the ferals into the catacombs, sewers, basements and outskirts. I'll also send word to the races for them to collect their dead, then im going to close the gates and hopefully the world will forget us. this will be my last entry in this book after this i'll put it back where i found it and then im going to seal the tomb with me inside to live out the rest of my days.
