The rules are simple, and should be easy enough to follow. Disobeying them will not get you kicked out, they’re more like guidelines… but if you continuously go against these guidelines, than just go away… or we’ll make you go away...

1: follow Gaia TOS (duh)

2: don’t be disrespectful, if you have any negative comments, don’t just say “This idea is stupid!” Make sure you go into detail about what you don’t like, and how they can improve it.

3: When posting your idea, if it’s more than 6 or so lines long, make sure you space it out. Walls of text are really annoying and unnecessary.

4: Try being original, I don’t want to see half a dozen posts that say “A game kinda like halo but you can fly!” or something… replace it with something like “A war between two nations using high tech weaponry and suits that have powerful jetpacks, allowing the soldiers to have combat in midair”. There’s nothing wrong with making references to other games to help describe your game, just make sure that this is YOUR idea, and not just a mixture of other developer’s ideas. (although, if your idea would be part of a series, like a new Zelda or a new Halo, that’s fine to do too.)

5: Theres no limit to how long or short your idea is, just keep in mind, if you have 4 full posts of text running down the page, people will be reluctant to hear it… and if it’s tiny, people are going to blow it off as a silly idea. If it’s a long idea, you may want to have a shorter version at the top to get people interested.

6: If you’re going to post your ideas, you’re going to post on other people’s ideas. I don’t want to see you with only one post after a week juts because you wanted to post your idea and left it for a week for others to comment on… You want people to post on your idea, you WILL post on others.

7: Give it some thought… whether you’re posting on an idea, or posting your own, give it some time and thought… don’t just post as quickly as you can, take some time and give it some effort.

8: If you have a problem with a user, Let me know personally, and I’ll take care of it. If they constantly ridicule you and whatnot for no reason, just send me a PM.
