also (concerning breeding) there could be some item involving "inheritance" (kind of like a will, but not dead-ness) where an edited kitsune could have bebes that have some sort of edit like the parent.

they could have those lucky cat things(that hold the coin) for benevolent ones
and tengu or some evil spirit for the malevolent ones

mebe kitsune could have "clans" like families(for rp purposes) and if they get enough kitsune for a clan they could get their own little symbol.
