Origin of Birth: Southern Water Tribe
Biography: Kaito was born into the Southern Water Tribe and was quickly bred to become a warrior by his father. When his Waterbending abilities were discovered, his mother took it upon herself to teach Kaito the fundamentals of Waterbending as well. So, he had two teachers: his father, who taught him hunting, fishing, and combat, and his mother, who learned him in the ways of Waterbending. At age sixteen, Kaito decided to take a break from training and travel abroad to learn more about the world. While in the Fire Nation, he met a young girl and the two fell in love. He stayed with her for two years. Kaito persuaded the Fire Nation girl to come home with him to the Southern Water Tribe. She agreed. On their way home, they were attacked by pirates. Kaito's love was killed and he marked forever. Returning to the Southern Water Tribe in pain, he finished his studies at age twenty-one soon before his mother and father ventured out into the world. When the chieftain died however, Kaito was the only male adequate enough to rise to the position. And he did. Now he is trying to keep his village together, hoping to stay out of conflict.
