Background: Chase Weathers grew up in a rich household. Or at least as rich as people can get in west Rukon. He lived a happy life, with his friends and family. He practiced his swordsmanship with his tutor and played shogi, go and dice games with his dad. His mom cooked the meals even though they had a cook employed. One day just after he beat his father at a dice game they sat at a table and drank some jasmine tea. His father turned to him and started speaking. “You know boy, you drew a very good lot.” “Dad we haven’t played lots in a while now, what do you mean?” “I mean life boy. You drew a good lot in life. And not because were wealthy, but because you don’t care that we are. You don’t flaunt it and you don’t use it to get out of trouble. You’ve got it made. You’re my boy.” “Thanks dad.” He went on to grow up and went to the Shinigami academy. He rose quickly through the ranks and soon became a Soul Reaper. Over the course of 50 years he grew very strong, he even mastered his Bankai in a short time. Then Akira came along. He told him of his plan. Chase thought on it for a long time. Then he made a quick response. “Right now I see the winds of fate blowing in your direction. I will throw my lot in with you. However if the winds change I will change my lot.”

Zanpakuto name: Bakuto rekisuu (Gambler of one’s fate)

Sealed appearance: The sealed form of Kagemusha is a simple Zanpakutou wrapped around his waist, and the hilt is pure black with the metal blade guard being purple.

Shikai release phrase: Cause unrest and panic with your riches

Shikai appearance: After the initial release Chase’s clothes change from his normal jeans, red shirt and black jacket to a black ghi, red chain mail under armor and black ninja pants. The zanpakutou curves and splits to form two crescent blade swords. One is silver; one is gold, each with its own specific ability.

Shikai ability: The silver one can stretch to form a straight blade and can be shot out and forms hooks on the tip of its blade. It latches onto whoever it impales.
The golden one cuts and turns the initial area cut into gold. If not properly treated properly and due hast it will turn the entire area of the cut into gold. Esentially it starts out as a thin top layer of gold that can be removed that soon seeps into the skin and begins to turn the flesh, organs, bones and even blood into gold.

Bankai release phrase: Fight amongst yourselves for money

Bankai appearance: The twin swords turn back into one that turns entirely golden with color and whenever it strikes something it makes the sound of coins falling and hitting the floor.

Bankai ability: Once it cuts someone’s flesh it sends them into a money rage. They begin to see all gold and silver. Then Chase has the ability to communicate with them telepathically. He offers them outrageous sums of money if they kill his target. They then blackout and become enraged for the money and attack anyone, even if it’s an ally. After he is done with them he will offer them all the money in the world if they kill the next target they see. After this they see themselves reflected in a stream of gold and because they cannot tell the difference they stab themselves fatally.

Vizard Resurrección- Joutei saiseiki (Lord of the golden age)

Release phrase: Turn to gold

Resurrection appearance: Chase’s body is actually changed in this form. He gains a purple cape and his blade turns from a katana to gladius and reflective golden shield. His body seeps silver and gold and the liquid turns into golden breastplate, silver arm and leg guards.

Resurrection abilities: His armor can drip more gold that will turn into gold soldiers that are strong, solid and still fast.
When he pulls out his shield anyone that looks into it directly turns to gold. However if he just blocks the attack (including kidou) the weapon or spell is the only thing that turns to gold.
When he cuts the flesh of his opponents it doesn’t turn the body into gold however all the blood in the victim’s body becomes liquid gold. It still functions as regular blood. However if a drop of blood hits any solid surface (including other enemies) it turns not only the surface into gold and then more golden soldiers form and attack the person who bled to create them.
His touch is exactly like that of Midas’ touch. However when he touches them he turns them instantly to gold. All at once and instantly they turn to gold. However if an an ally is able to force enough spiritual pressure through their golden body it will slowly start to crack and break apart and they will be free. However the process can take a while depending on the aptitude the ally has for controlling spirit pressure
