Is it monsters slain by a lone warrior to rescue his kidnapped love or to gain his revenge from the loss of his love. Or a sister seeking the man or demon that raped and murdered her sister her only family member. A warrior monk seeking redemption for something horrifying he did in a place he left a life time ago hoping everyday for it to be forgotten. Or maybe a squire seeking to become a knight by making a name for himself killing demons and challenging fighters better than himself. Or maybe even a demon seeking to rise above what he was born to be. All are vain ambitions for those that seek things to better themselves or make them feel better. No it is when the stories of many clash and become as one.

This story is exactly that each person has a different story. But not so far apart as to not merge with the stories of others. Like that demon was born from the demon that killed someones father. Or that demon is that persons father that youve been hunting to gain fame and glory. Or so on and so on.
Tales of wonder, tales of woe, tales of fledgling knights or wizards or witches out to seek fame and glory or their place in the world.

What makes legends are when all of these tales intertwine and all seek something to better the world around them.

Rules:

1.You get 3 strikes.
2.I am god of this rp I will not be defied. If I am defied that will be a strike.
3.No god-moding if you take control of another player that will be a strike unless worked out with that other person.
4.Keep it between pg and pg-13 if you go beyond that is a strike.
5.No ultimate powers if you say you have an ultimate power or void another persons attack thats a strike.
6. You must have heal time if struck you cannot jump back up unless your character is dying and its a drastic move.
7. You must send me your character profile labeled "What legends are made of"
8. This is a semi-lit but preferably literate rp. I say both because I accept short posts just dont do them every single time or every day. If you dont have a full thought write it down in a post then finish it the next day but write that it is unfinished.

The tale of how they began their search for the truth began with a blood soaked messenger boy. The boy had come from afar to deliver a message to the great warlord. It was from a lord in a distant country once great friends with their father asking for his help. The warlord had no idea that the invading army was an army of demons. The Warlord had never fought against demons before only humans. His army never stood a chance. The men bravely charged forward but were either cut down, eaten, mauled or utterly destroyed by some unholy power. But Zeek and Sirus they remained unharmed. Sirus simply fought and fought but Zeek he noticed long before his brother the demons were not fighting back against himself and his brother in-fact the monsters simply charged by them or bowed to them as the demon was struck down by their hands. Finally Zeek grabbed a demon by the throat and commanded to know why when he dropped his weapon at the demons feet the demon did not kill him. The demon looked at him with reverence and fear." Your father commanded that you be left unharmed or even touched." Zeek let him go and pondered this. Their father commanded they not be harmed? Gaianame: Kira_Tatahashi
Character Name: Idalia Alius
Race: Demon
Weapons: Circular Chakrams
Powers: Spirit Possession. She's very susceptible to being possessed by lingering spirits in her immediate surroundings which feed her energy, allowing her to use their strength to her own advantage.
Back Story: After her birth, Idalia's demon blooded mother left at her place of birth, alone and defenseless. Without anyone to care for her, she lay in the wood alone and without means of caring for herself since she was merely a newborn. To her luck, she was stumbled upon days later by a human family. They found her, her infant form, sitting by a fire and roasting a small collection of whole snakes and fish. Her face, her eyes, they showed a seriousness and the look of one far, far beyond her infant maturity. It almost seemed like something was inside of her, and had been controlling her body. Even so, the family took her in and raised her as their own.

As a young child, Idalia showed signs of multiple personality syndrome. Her mother and father would find her acting in the most peculiar ways. One moment she would seem shy and innocent, and the next, she would be snarling at them and cursing like a grown man. She was a handful to raise, but other than her personality issues, she passed to their fellow villagers as a mere human due to her subtle appearance.

At the age of 14, her parents were attacked by a pair of demons while in the wood hunting and gathering their dinner. And so, this young demon girl, with her strange mental situation, set out to find the demons responsible, and kill them.

Powers: Osmotic learning, he can learn about things through physical contact with them. It doesn't always work, and when it does work he has a seizure-like episode. The magnitude of the seizure is based on the amount of information he intakes.
Back story: Eric was the illegitimate child of the head alchemist of a powerful king and a house-maid, and being so he was immediately placed in an orphanage. After all, no one wanted the king's head alchemist looking bad. So, Eric was raised in the orphanage, being adopted many times because of his uncanny intelligence, and being returned for the same reason. He ran away from the orphanage at the age of 16, and has been wandering around, stealing interesting gizmos and chemicals and blowing up any building he pleases. No one even suspects it's him, thanks to his age and... Interesting mannerisms. His knowledge has driven him to the point of insanity, although he relishes people's reactions when he proves himself to be more than a rambling child.

Gaianame: fireguy77
Character name: Zenouse Embeya

Taken on by his mother's family, who were also royalty, he learned the ways of magic. He was then given the most prized Scorceror's weapon of the kingdom; The Demon Scepter. with it, all his demonic powers were tripled, making him the most capable spellcaster in his land. However, when his adoptive family found out he was a half demon, he was banished from there, too. He now travels the globe in search for place where people will finally accept him.

Gaianame: ApostropheRobin
Character name: Aika Gaaero
Race biggrin emon
Weapons:Bow and Arrow
Powers:She has a strong pair of eyes, able to shoot a black fly off a black horse from 250 meters away. This gives her the ability to notice things most people wouldn't notice, minute details that help her identify a person. (Basically she can tell a lot about a person just by looking at them) She has demon powers controlling the wind but she doesn't know how to use them and never has used them
Back story:Aika was found by a human couple at the age of two, wandering around the forest outside a large populated city. She didn't seem to know who her parents were or where they were; all she knew was that she was told to wait. The human couple took her in and raised her as their own, possibly hypnotized by the beautiful amber glow of her eyes. Though she grew up human, the other children knew she wasn't the same as them and bullied her, leaving her out whenever they could. Aika held her temper though, instead attempting to find a way she could be accepted by those around her for the abilities she had. Her keen eyes helped her take up the bow and arrow with impeccable speed and skill. Soon, the greatest warlord by the name of Oblem called her to be a sniper archer in his army. She of course accepted, eager to prove her worth.
Picture:Aika

Gaianame: Wulfgar114
Character name: Korugar Olfgrin
Race: Human
Weapons: His halberd, built from sacred steel for his father, as well as his fists, and on occassion, he'll throw himself around. Man like him in heavy armor smashing into stuff? That's a -weapon-.
Powers: Extreme muscle density. The amount of muscle a normal human could pack onto his frame, he's got a good 3 or 4 times more. This gives him great strength in battle, but does contribute to his weight, making him super heavy. It is later discovered he also has a latent 'berserker rage', which is fairly self-explanatory.
Back story: Running away from an abusive home as a young child, he was stranded in the forest for months. There, he mentaly de-volved into a more primal state, imbuing him with his rage, which never truly left him. Found by roaming slavers, he was raised as a pit fighter for illegal gambling operations. All found it peculiar that he seemed to bulk up slower than the other fighters, and yet was their superior in brute strength. Even to this day, he has no clue why or how he does this.
He liked the pit fighter life; it brought him limited fame and glory. But soon he was let free, and had no direction. He joined a band of mercenaries, donning his heavy suit of armor. After learning they had been hired to raid what he remembered as his hom village, he broke off with them in the middle of the night, and returned to his parent's house, learning that they had long since been dead. In his fathers smithy, he found the great halberd, a fine weapon forged from a sacred metal called starsteel. It was his father's when he was a knight, and now it was Korugar's. The next day, he stood against the mercenaries and won, and the village thanked him. He now wanders the land, seeking to regain glory and honor by saving people, or killing them. Whichever comes first.

Gaianame: Elizabeth Blaque
Character name: Calsafine Ralkroondy
Race: Demon
Weapons: She carries a katana at her waist and a large batlath strung across her back.
Powers: She can manipulate fire, use minor summonings, and has a bit of a talent for black magic.
Back story: She was born into an upper nobility family in the demon world, but had always seemed a little off. She often disagreed with her family and their political, moral, and basic squabbles, so when they were found massacred, she was naturally blamed. She was 12 at the time, and now ten years have passed. She is a mere child in demon eyes, and her powers have yet to mature. She now resides in the human plane, her demonic form sealed away so that she blends with the others. She has been traveling from place to place for some time, resembling the pattern of a rouge. She has no purpose, no goal, no reason.
Picture: Calsafine

Gaianame: Xavier Dusk
Character name: Michael. (Forgotten his last name.)
Race: Halfbreed.
Weapons:
Powers: As a human, he is able to channel demonic energy in the form of a small amount of demonic silver armor, capable of launching blasts of red and black electricity. While in his demon form, this skill is amplified to a great degree.
Back story: Michael grew up with a single parent, that parent being his father. His mother had endured years of abuse from the father, and finally could handle no more, taking her own life. Michael blamed himself for this, and strayed off the good path. He began to follow in his own fathers filthy footsteps, growing up into the same man as him, worse even. Throughout his adulthood he endulged himself in the 7 deadly sins, before finally being struck down during a bout with his own father. They both had ended up dead. Both ending up in hell. Unlike his father, Michael harbored guilt for his actions, and planned to redeem himself. He firmly felt he was not meant for hell. He felt that the second path was still available to him. So, he crawled from the circles of hell in an attempt to leave. Going so far as becoming part demon to do so, and using there weapons. This lust for redemption was not only brought on by guilt for his own actions, but for disobeying his own mother when she requested he did not become like his father.

Zeek rushed through the demons hacking and slicing his way. He needed to know who was leading them. He didn't care anymore that they weren't fighting back they had taken the only father he had ever known from him and it filled him with absolute rage. Zeek looked right and left for his brother but was only surprised for a second when Sirus flipped over him and crashed his fist into a demon's face leaving the demons skull crumbling as it lay dead on the ground. Zeek nodded at Sirus and Sirus nodded at Zeek in unison. They ran side by side slashing and punching the demons that began to thicken as they got closer and closer to the demons standing in the back the demons both brothers guessed to be the commanding officers. Sirus knew if they could reach them they could get some answers. Maybe their father was in the back. Sirus wouldnt have cared he would have tried to kill the b*****d first thing without a word. He loved his fake father very much a man that even if he wasnt his real father had loved and cared for him his entire life thus far. Some person or demon that arose suddenly out of nowhere claiming to be his real father would never change that.
A demon went to grab a hold of Zeek but Zeek spun around the brute thrusting one of his daggers into the demons back twisting and jerking it free leaving the beasts foul blood spraying on the other demons as they charged to grab the two brothers. Sirus grappled with one of the demons using his hands he wrestled the snarling monster to the ground at one instant it looked as if the demon might actually fight back and almost bit into Sirus's flesh but suddenly stopped as his neck was broken Sirus grabbing both sides of the demons face and twisting the demons head to the right quickly letting out a loud snapping sound as the vertebrae broke free of the cartilage Sirus then thrust his spiked gauntlet into its throat giving it 4 large wholes that gushed blood leaving the demon to slowly bleed out.

The chaos was all around. Blood had been smeared on every bit of of green grass, and the torn bodies were strewn all across the area. The screamed filled the air, and were in such a sufferingly piercing pitch, it was almost unbearable to the ears. The culprit, or culprits for that matter, were hidden somewhere amongst the hoards of demons battling against them.

A pair of gentle, brown eyes gazed out at the scene, and the girl they belonged too held a helplessly concerned look upon her face. Her brow was knit with worry, and her dainty hands were held up toward her face as if to give her some amount of reassurance and security. Her feet were pointed in, and her body seemed almost trembling. Her head turned side to side quickly as she tried to looked at the battle without doing what her mind was telling her, which was to run away.

Just when she was about to give up on her search for whatever it had been what she was looking for, she caught sight of two figures within the crowd who seemed to be the ones slaughtering the demons around her. And so, she took off toward them. She weaved in and out of the mass of fighters with such a clumsy way about herself. She would fall to her knees, and crawl away from the danger, or let out soft squeals when someone got too close to her. It was almost as if she were a mere child.

As she got just a few feet away from the two trouble makers, she stopped, and planted her shaking body still on the ground. She took in a deep breath, and readied herself to speak to them finally. Just then, she felt something hot on her cheek. It stung, and it felt like it was dripping down her face. Her hand reached up to where the sensation had been coming from, and touched the very spot. When she pulled her hand away, she found a small amount of blood on her hand. Suddenly, her eyes grew wide with pure terror. Her hands reached up and her fingers were jammed into her hair as she nearly doubled over and closed her eyes, letting out a blood curdling scream.

Not a second later, she began to breath heavily, and her body trembled the way one would if they were crying. A soft sound was coming from her, and slowly it got louder and louder. Soon enough, she had pulled her hands from her hair, and shot her head up, her back straightening. Her hands fell to her sides and rested on where her chakrams sat on her hips. There on her face were not tears, but a wide smile, and glowing red eyes. From her mouth came a billowing sound of laughter, and she reared her head around.

"Who the hell was it!?" She demanded as she looked each and every one of the demons around her down with a frightening stare, her smile never wavering, "Who was it that dared cut my face?" With no answer coming, and the demons merely ignoring her for the other two were had caused the ruckus, she took it upon herself to take action.

"Fine then," She said as she pulled the chakrams into her hands, and lowered her body, ready to strike, "I'll kill all of you filthy beasts!" She roared as she leapt into battle and began slicing the demons up with no mercy.

Both brothers turned and stopped hearing the scream from far behind them. Sirus looked back and saw the crazed looking woman now fighting the demons. He had to smile she was absolutely insane and it interested him. Zeek turned but went straight back to slashing and stabbing. Sirus watched undisturbed the demons weren't even attacking him they were now launching themselves at this woman and they weren't getting very far. Sirus knew he needed to help his brother but this was so much more interesting.
Zeek ran up the front of one demons body feet first then leaping up kicking him in the throat. Zeek then thrust his b*****d sword deep into the demons gut. Stomach, intestines, and the beasts bowels spilled onto the ground. But Zeek wasn't there long enough even to see the brute crash into the dirt. Zeek rushed then to another demon. This demon didn't even last any longer than the first. The demons were getting worried they had been ordered to leave the boys alone but they would die either way if they touched the boys or not. One of the demons from the back rushed forward. He wasn't at all large in-fact he was rather small. But he wasn't going to die just because his master said not to kill to runt half-breeds. The demon rushed Zeek and their blades clashed sending sparks flying from the force of the blows. Zeek wanted so badly to get to the back he tried to push the demon back but with a simple twist the small demon flung Zeek back knocking the large b*****d-sword out of his hands. Zeek flipped backwards to avoid slash after slash. Zeek pulled out his daggers to defend himself.

The crazed woman turned on her heel, and spun just enough so that she had come face to face with one of the demons amongst the horde. She looked at him with eyes that held an intense red fire inside of them, and her maniacal laughter was once again given life. As she stared into the demon's eyes, she held both of her chakrams out to her sides with her arms out stretched wide. But, before the demon could react, or even blink, her hands had quickly begun to close in on him. One of the chakrams was up higher, and the other, in the demon's belly region. In a split second, she had crossed her arms over one another, cutting through the delicate flesh of the neck, and breaking through to his trachea. The blood nearly sprayed out into the air. Her other weapon had pierced through the skin at his waist, and slashed clear on through his mid section, cutting into his stomach. The acid from inside of it poured out along with what seemed like endless amounts of blood.

The girl spun round on her heel, and looked out into the crowd of demons. The few droplets of blood that had gotten onto her hand from her assault on the demon's neck were now being tended to as she licked them off, and smiled with a wild look in her eyes. She let out a playfully evil giggle, and her eyes caught sight of one of the killing duo she'd earlier been trying to speak with. Only, somehow it seemed as if this was the first time she'd seem him. The fact that it seemed he was content with watching her slaughter was intriguing to say the least, and she found the urge welling up inside of her to go and speak with him. He seemed to be enjoying himself well enough, anyway.

And so, without so much as flinching, she watched the swarm of demons rushing at her. Her smile never faded as one of the demons launched its self through the air and toward her. She merely lifted the chakram in her left hand, and the demon crashed into it, slicing through him and even splitting his spine in half. She lowered her arm again, and allowed gravity to pull the demon from her weapon. She went along this way, cutting into skulls and watching the brain contents ooze out, shopping into collar bones and nearly watching hearts falling out of bodies, and she did all this until she'd made it within conversational distance of the man.

Her gaze was intense, and though the rest of these figures angered her, this one wasn't so bad. She was interested in him, and being interested, she thought she would spare him long enough to amuse herself.

"Hey, spiky head!" She called to him in a mocking tone. Her voice was husky, but not in a deep, manly sort of way. It was more of a sultry voice, almost beckoning. "Those eyes of yours, are you looking this way by choice, or are they stuck peering in my direction?" She asked, a chuckle escaping her lips.

She could feel one of her opponents nearing behind her, and her smile only grew wider. She readied her weapons at her side, and lowered her stance. She continued to look at the man in the last seconds as the demon behind her neared closer.

"Because 'this one's' red eyes don't take well to gawking!" She warned the man, and just as the demon behind her nearly cut into her shoulder, she had ducked, and turned below him. She fell to her back, and shoved her blades into his chest. At the same time, she used the momentum of her arms to push him back, and her legs to kick his behind her even further, and toward the man she'd just addressed.

As she began to push herself up from the ground, her ears caught wind of another fighter. He looked very similar to the man near her, and she smiled once again, her red eyes nearly glowing with delight.

"Two of them, I see..." She said to herself as if this had been the first time she'd noticed.

Sirus smiled he liked her very much. Sirus launched himself over her grabbing a hold of a demons head he then thrust his spiked gauntlets into the demons neck smiling as it cracked beneath his fist. He absolutely loved the sound of breaking bones and feel of something as strong as a bone giving way beneath his hands. He flipped off the fallen body of the demon and stood beside the woman smiling." Well I guess its my fault you got cut. So I think I'll help you over my brother.. He has things covered." Sirus smiled happily and slightly dementedly. He looked back at his brother and winced as he saw his brother nearly get decapitated by the demon he was fighting.

Sirus jumped into the air and sideswiped a demon in the face with his iron capped boots. Sirus began grappling with another demon striking the demon repeatedly in the face with a barrage of punches the blood spurting out from each puncture wound from the 4 inch spikes on his gauntlets the blood and brain matter splattering on Sirus's face. He simply smiled and jumped back to the side of the woman. He had an ear to ear grin as if the sight of blood only fanned the flames of his blood lust.

Zeek parried again and again blocking the strikes of this new demon. The fact the demon was actually fighting back thrilled him. Zeek watched for an opening but the demons attacks had no pattern. No style to draw from to find a weakness in it. But this was a weakness in itself. The demon simply attacked and attacked. Zeek parried twisted his right arm around the demons swinging limb and decapitated him with his free blade.

The sight of this man's fighting style was intrigued the red eyed woman. The way he fought was a complex idea. He seemed brash and sloppy at first. His movements seemed off, and it almost seemed like he was just wailing at his enemies aimlessly. But, as she took a closer look, she realized that this technique actually was quite effective. Though it did not look like he was formerly trained due to his lack of disciplined form, it seemed he was completely in control of himself. He was not graceful in the least but he still got the job done more than thoroughly. In a way, his technique was very honed, just not something one could teach another very well. That idea was very interesting.

She found herself soon standing near the man, as he had approached her at side. Her red eyes shifted in her head to look at the man, but no effort was made to turn her head to acknowledge him. That was far too much effort, and no matter how much this man had caught her interest, she wasn't ready to just up and give him her full attention. She was far too hungry for the thrill of the fight to give him such an honor. Even so, she spoke back to his somewhat cocky sounding words.

"Your fault?" She asked, finding herself laughing aloud at his statement, "Oh, my friend... you're just too funny. I mean, surely you don't expect me to sick the blame upon a complete and total stranger, right?" She asked him as she began her bloody assault once more, all the while speaking.

"You see, it was neither my fault, nor you fault, hell! It wasn't even the fault of these sorry, good for nothings!" She explained as she ripped her blades into one's chest cavity, and pulled it out quickly, and moved onto the next victim, "It was that sorry excuse for a girl! The one with the golden brown eyes!" She stated, "She just so utterly weak, it's pathetic! And so, the one with the chocolate eyes sent me out to protect her. Although, she should know much better by now. I'm not really the most considerate when it comes to this form!" She said, the end of her sentence beginning to be shouted as she leapt up into the air, and came down, smashing into the nearest opponents face. In the process, though, she felt as the demon's sword had just sliced into her upper leg. It was not a deep gash, but big enough to cause displeasure.

The red eyed woman sliced the man's head off, and then rose back to her feet, and tasted the blood off of her blade. She cringed, and spat it next to where she stood. Her injured leg was now propped up against the dead enemy's head, and she pushed it's decapitated form down into the dirt.

"Ugh! These creatures taste so vile! It's so hard to come by tasty blood these days," She said with a sigh. She spoke of it as if she was speaking about a poor choice in winery.

She then found herself turning back, and her crimson eyes began to dart back and forth between the other two fighting men. Her smile was back, and she chuckled to herself.

"So, the two of you are related..."

Sirus smiled." Twins actually. Though life in its little jokes on us most cant tell anymore. That is my brother Zeek and my name is..." Sirus jumped into the air and spin kicked a demon in the face that rushed at Idalia. Sirus landed on his hands and spun his legs at the legs of two demons that rushed him and the girl. Sirus dropped and rolled back to his feet." Sirus. My name is Sirus."

Zeek rushed back to his brother's side all he saw was his brother on the ground." Are you.. Who is she?" Zeek grabbed his b*****d-sword and threw it through the air lodging it into the chest of a demon that rushed to slice the woman in two. Zeek and Sirus jumped back to back Zeek his twin blades in his hands and Sirus his fists raised at the ready to attack. Close to each other the two brothers were almost identical in appearance as they both looked forward to the blood to be spilled.

The fiery woman couldn't help but laugh at the idea of being helped. She hated being helped by anyone, and these two men were no exception. She wasn't about to let this slide. She had to defend her pride and honor as a fighter. But most of all, she was upset that her prey had been killed by these two twins. Her thirst for blood was far too great to have someone thinking they could get in on the action.

"Alright, let me get one thing straight," She spoke as she neared the two. Hearing an attacker close by, she sighed. She hated to be interrupted, too. There were many things that made her angry, now that she thought about it. So, as the fighter approached her, she grabbed hold of his shoulder, and moved out of his way. She pushed him down into the ground, and stomped on his back to steady his writhing body. She aimed her blade at his neck, about two feet above it, and then plunged it into him, slicing off the demon's head from behind. She then stood back up straight and looked over at the brothers again.

"Back to what I was saying," She started casually, "I'm no damsel in distress, alright? I don't need a knight in shining armour, let alone two knights in shining armour, to help me win my own fights," She explained as she neared closer to them and wrapped an arm over each of them, draping it over their shoulders. She pulled them closer to make sure they heard her, because another thing she hated was to repeat herself.

"So! As I was saying. Don't ever for one moment think I needed your help back there. I'm perfectly capable of handling things myself," She said, finishing her speech and letting the two of them out of her hold.

Just then, another demon came from behind her, and she moved to her side, just barely missing the blade of his sword. She grabbed hold of the sword wielding arm, and tossed him to the ground over her shoulder, twisting his arm in the process. She aimed her blade at him, and gave his a demonic smirk before she sliced his arm off. She listen to his incessant screaming as if it were music to her ears, and rose the arm to her for better inspection, a look of boredom on her face. She tossed the arm behind her and looked back at the brothers.

She took a breath, and smiled again, chuckling at the sight of how similar the two looked. It was just too funny. She'd never witnessed twins with this sort of ability. She always thought of them as pansies who wore identical clothes and hair styles and sucked up to their mother and father. The sight was rather amusing.

She looked around to see the horde was slowly thinning, and it seemed the three of them had nearly wiped out the force. She looked back at the boys with her hand on her hip, and blood trickling down from each of her chakrams.

"Oh, by the way. Our name is Idalia,"She said in a matter-of-fact way. "And don't be forgetting it anytime soon. Ciao," She said with a cocky wave of her hand. Not a second later, her once piercingly blood colored eyes had softened and changed to a dark chocolaty brown color. Her maniacal smile had been replaced by an uninterested look, as she lowered her chakrams to her sides.

She let out a sigh, and looked down to her leg where she had been cut earlier. She touched the wound gently, and winced at the stinging feeling. Not only had she been cut, but the other had not even been kind enough to mind it and keep it clean. She let out a deep sigh and released an irritated 'tch' sound. She then looked back at the men in front of her with a greatly uninterested expression on her face.

"The one with the red eyes tells me you two are called Zeek and Sirus, am I correct?" She asked as she placed her weapons on her side again, "While I may be boring and plain compared to her, I'd like to ask you two a question, if you're not too busy," She said to them as she crossed her arms over her chest. She was completely different than just a moment before. She seemed much less blood thirsty than earlier.

Suddenly the ground began to tumble, rumble and shake. And a power an enormous power began to move towards them. Suddenly a group of demons that couldnt have even been seen grabbed the three of them from behind. they tied their arms quickly and relieved them of their weapons. They were held to look off into the distance by these three demons with immense strength and speed holding them as if they were nothing but children as they struggled. They looked off in the distance and saw a woman drawing closer and closer. She stood at least 5 and a half feet tall but the three slender horns coming from her human like head made her at least a foot taller but as she drew closer the shaking and rumbling grew worse. She floated into the air and it suddenly stopped. Her immense power was to much for the ground itself to hold she was so powerful even the ground could feel her might. She floated to look at the three. She looked over the two boys." You look so much like your father when you boys fight. I must say its quiet interesting. Savagery mixed with elegance is something I thought only older demons could accomplish. Your father could not be here. So he sent me. His mistress and no not his whore. I am his mistress because he will not marry me because he still loves your mother. Though a vile human as she was I must hold my tongue in reverence for her. Though she was human she bore you two boys. And though your father ordered you not be touched I cannot have my demons stand by and let you kill them. I could have had them slaughter you before your 7th step on this battle field. You have done well though to kill as many as you have. You show great promise. But this ends here." With a flash of power all three lost consciousness.

Zeek jerked awake and flipped to his feet with his hands tied behind his back. He looked around and saw the woman and then Sirus a far distance from himself. Zeek spotted his b*****d sword standing in the corpse of a demon and rushed over to cut himself free. He had to find out what had happened. He could tell what was left of the demons had left but that didn't mean some of them weren't spying on them.

Sirus jumped to his feet as well and looked around. They were still on the field of the battle but it was now night. They had to leave quickly. He turned and spotted what looked like large dogs feeding on the corpses of the demons. Sirus walked over to Idalia and shouted." WAKE UP!!"

A small boy with wild eyes, dirt-smeared face and stained clothes walked through the field, eyes darting around. Searching. At least two survivors, one trying to wake a third. He scratched his head... Three people killed all of these demons? "Jeez..." his hand rested on his belt for comfort, he always carried a few treats in there, just in case. If one of them should prove hostile, he would simply toss a nice little goody he had whipped up earlier; a small bag of nitroglycerin. Or, nitroglycerin substitute, the actual chemical was very hard to come by. This substitute, while not as explosive, was just as volatile, and still exploded when exposed to too much movement... Like an impact of a few feet. Simply toss the bag at the target, and kaboom. Like a magic trick, but more fun.

But it seemed like they weren't going to attack yet, so the boy prepared to let out a sigh of relief. He walked slowly towards them, raising his hands so they could see him, see he wasn't threatening. Although, he doubted he would appear threatening in the first place, scrawny as he was. "Oi! You, over there! What's all this?" he asked, gesturing at all the bodies on the ground. "What the hell happened?" Not that it was too terribly important, it just seemed interesting that these two or three could take down so many demons. Then another thought occurred to him. He could probably scrounge up a new knife, which would really help out. Considering his old one was literally falling apart.

Seeing the demon woman in front of them had felt like a dream, but the hold that had been on her arms had been enough to make her believe perhaps it was real. As the woman had addressed these two brothers she'd just met, she found herself attempting to wriggle out from the hold of the immensely strong demon who held tightly onto her arms. Hearing the demon mistress speaking made her angry. She was the one who had sicked these demons on them. Such an did not exactly show hospitality in the least.

Unable to move from the demon's grasp, she looked up at the woman, her dark brown eyes narrowing at her. Suddenly, her eyes grew wide, and she felt her entire body grow limp.

-----

The sound of the deep voice billowing through the air reached her ears, and the brunette's eyes shot open instantly. Unsure what was happening, or where she was at first, she took a quick look around as she lay on the ground. She took in a deep breath, and heaved herself to a sitting position. She took a quick look about herself until her eyes fell on Sirus. She tried to pull her arms out from behind her but found herself bound with tight ropes.

"What the hell is this!?" She demanded as she tried to look over her shoulder at the ties. She cursed once more under her breath and looked back at the man in front of her, "Ze-- er... Sirus! Which ever one you are! What's going--!" Just then, her eyes caught sight of the hell hounds just feet away from them. She gasped, and quickly stood to her feet. She nearly toppled over from her sudden light headedness, but it quickly subsided, and she turned to look at the brothers once again.

"Where the hell are my chakrams?" She asked, half to her self. She looked from side to side, searching the blood streaked ground for them. "Get me out of these damn ropes!" She demanded as she continued to try and pull her hands apart from behind her. Her frustration was evident on her face, and her cocky demeanor from earlier had been replaced with such unrefined attitude.

Just then, her ears caught the sound of an unfamiliar voice. She quickly spun around to face him, her anger still evidently written across her features. She scoffed, and took a step forward.

"Who are you? Are you in league with that wench?" She asked brashly as she stared on at him.

"I'm Eric... And I have no clue as to what wench you would be referring to," the boy said, frowning. "If you could tell me just what happened here, seeing as I'm a tad curious as to how you three killed off an army of demons without dying... That'd be great," Eric said, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, and here you go. It's a tad old and rusted, so don't cut yourself. Might get tetanus," he muttered, tossing his old knife to the angry woman. Probably a bad idea, in retrospect. Eric then proceeded to turn on his heels, and search the bodies for any weapons he would be able to use. Like knives or daggers and the like. After all, he was a bit small for those huge swords, but he did have an advantage; he was quick, he was smart... And he had a pack filled with all sorts of lovely chemicals, perfect for smokescreen escapes or explosion distractions. Or even just making pretty colors for his own short attention span.

Sirus looked at the boy and saw him throw the knife to the girl. Sirus glared at the boy. What good would a dull knife be to a person with their hands tied behind them. If her hands were in-front then it wouldn't be such a problem. But as Sirus was about to say something Zeek was behind him cutting him free.

Zeek held his brother still as he slashed the cords that held him." Find your gauntlets and help me find my daggers. We need to leave." Zeek held up one of Idalia's chakrams." Its all I could find." Zeek slashed the cords holding her quickly." We really need to get going I don't want to be the next warm meal those dogs try and eat."

Sirus nodded to his brother and began looking. He didn't really need his gauntlets to kill things but they were given to him by his father and that made them irreplaceable and invaluable to him in every way. Sirus could only guess the daggers were the same for his brother.

Zeek looked at the young boy he heard him say his name and addressed him." My name is Zeek the other is my brother Sirus. You said your name was Eric? Did you see the demons that left here? Did you see which way they went?" Zeek wanted to know as much as he could he just hoped this boy would actually know something of importance.
