Cody had walked out of the infirmary and was now walking down the hallways looking at the rest of the school.

"Oh no, I totally blew it," Nel whispered to herself, holding her hat in front of her and looking down. She moved her hands across the brim, muttering nervously. "I should've just stayed out in the woods like my mom said, now I'm here, surrounded by people who want my soul. What was I thinking?" She bit the hat, nibbling it. Her glasses fell to the tip of her nose. "Ooh."

Cody had been walking down the hallway when he heard someone talking to themselves. He looked around and didn't see anyone walking through the halls because they were all in class. He came to a corner and looked around seeing a girl nibbling on her hat, "Um... excuse me but are you okay?" He said trying to be nice.

Nel jumped, still biting her hat. She looked around quickly and waved her hands, trying to speak but forgetting to move her mouth. She tugged the hat and then pulled it on her head. "I-I'm sorry, did I desturb you? I-I-I didn't mean to! Really!" She pulled the edges of the bat down and looked at the ground. "I'm sorry."

Cody walked over to her, "No... its okay but I just heard someone talking to themselves and was wondering if you were okay... you seem a little jumpy, are you okay?"

She looked up a little. "Well, I'm kinda new to the school. So I don't know where to go," She muttered.

Cody nodded, "I see well allow me to be the first to greet you to the school... the names Cody Roth!" He said holding out his hand to shake hers, "If you need any help you can ask me!" He said giving a smile.

Nel looked at his hand for a moment, hessitating as she reached out and took his in hers. "My name's Nel Fosphoros."

Cody shook her hand, "Nice to meet you Nel." He than wondered if she was a meister or a weapon. He focused his eyes trying to see if he could see from her soul. He was able to look at it and caught a glimpse of a witch's soul. He looked around seeing no one else nearby, "So is that why you seem so nervous?" He said quietly so that only she could hear.

She looked at him with wide eyes and pulled the hat further down over her face. "Please, don't do that again." She whispered. "Y-yes, that's kinda the r-reason."

Cody looked at her, "Relax... Im not going to do any harm, I believe that only those that want to hurt others or that are evil should be attacked..." He looked under the edge of her hat so that she can see his honest face, "I can easily see that you have a kind soul..."

She looked at him, letting go of her hat. It bounced back to its normal shape, though torn in some places. She gave a small smile. "Th-thank you, Cody," She whispered.

"W-well I was going to head to the lib-library to get some studying done before I started my classes," She said slowly. Her glasses fell to the brim of her nose again. She pushed them back with a quick finger. "But, s-silly me, I don't kn-know my way around here yet."
