While tending to the saplings she'd planted in the time following the truce, Amber over exerted herself spiritually, and her demon took advantage of the situation - nearly making its final escape. Using the sword Amber had obtained from Xavier, it impaled her in an attempt to kill her. Not wanting to see it cause the deaths of her friends, Amber used the last remaining portion of her energy to seal it back within her dying body. Jashinmaru smelled blood and arrived at the scene, using her chakra control abilities to heal Amber, saving her from death. Once Amber seemed to be stable (though dizzy), Sendo Kon arrived and dropped a bombshell: Jashinmaru and Amber had encountered one another before, though neither remembered it...

Deidara returned, following Sasori. Though there was tension, no fighting erupted, and a semi-heated discussion took place, during which Hiruko stopped Tobi's attempt to attack Amber. Tobi threw french fries of a mysterious origin at Sendo Kon at one point. It ended with Sasori, Deidara, and Tobi agreeing that the Akatsuki, Ikutsaka, and Kuroihisakata would be allies until the rest of the competition was eliminated. Members beware: This is a temporary truce. They left on Sun Jan 31.

Sendo Kon arrived and personally got involved with the ongoing fight with Deidara and Tobi. She, Amber, and Raven contemplated what to do about the potential minefield Tobi had laid down underneath their feet. Eventually, Sendo deactivated the field. This caused the demon within Amber to stir, and she tangled with it for control. Despite the minefield Tobi planted being deactivated, Deidara snuck clay spiders into the ground throughout the course of the battle, and had them detonate, destroying a large portion of the forest. Despite this, most of the members escaped the explosion, and the battle continued. Deidara and Tobi left in defeat on Tue Dec 22, 2009.

Deidara returned to deliver a message of oncoming war to the Kuroihisakata. He flirted with both Amber and Raven, which lead Raven to attack him. Deidara, however, had a clone in place and it detonated upon Raven's attack, and the two began to fight. This eventually prompted Hotaru to attack as well. Rudy attacked and bit Deidara, and Deidara retaliated. However, Amber got involved and blocked the attack from hitting Rudy. Tobi invaded in order to aid Deidara on Wed Nov 18.

Xavier allowed "Hidan" and Amber to battle his inner demon, Dusk. Raven and Howl entered the battle against him, but in the end, he teleported away, and attempted to take Howl with him. Luckily, Howl avoided the grab, and Dusk/Xavier was forced to leave the battle empty-handed.

Amber succeeded in molding a weapon from her chakra. Xavier began teaching her how to draw upon the energy of all of the things around her. Xavier also took the crystal he gave Amber back. He then pretended Amber's demon possessed his body through the expansion of her aural field. Using a specialized sword made of healing metals that Xavier earlier had her bring from his workshop, Amber managed to draw the "demon's energy" out of Xavier when he used an energy transfer technique (Aura Transfer). A good quarter of the demon's energy was sealed within the healing sword.

Amber's training gave her demon the leeway it needed to gain control of her body. The demon threatened Xavier, and he retaliated. Soon after, Raven joined the fray. Xavier used a secret technique and transformed into an aural sword, allowing Raven to keep the demon from doing any truly severe damage until Sendo Kon arrived at the scene. The demon charged our leader, but found itself subdued by one fluid movement. Amber was able to regain control of her body once she woke in the wake of Sendo's defensive maneuver.

Inari, Zu-Ky's supposedly dead sister, proved to be alive and well by paying a visit to the Kuroihisakata "base".

Zu-Ky threatened Hotaru by placing his sword against her neck. Amber and Raven came to her aid, stalling him long enough for Sendo Kon to intervene. Finally convinced he'd made his point, Zu-Ky stood down but accidentally cut himself on Raven's poisoned blade. Raven was kind enough to administer the antidote to him, saving his life.

Deidara invaded our "base", spurred on by "Hidan". After a long exchange of insults, Hotaru became impatient and attacked the invader, causing a chain reaction in which Zu-Ky and Xavier also attacked. After Amber pointed out the fallout of mindlessly running into battle, more talk ensued. Followed by more insults. Then Deidara disappeared for a while.

Xavier started a blacksmithing shop, open exclusively to Kuroihisakata members and our allies.

The Kuroihisakata was the subject of an attack by Deidara, of the rival guild Akatsuki Rebellion, who threatened to use explosives to demolish our "base". He left, threatening to destroy both the Kuroihisakata and our allies, the Ikutsaka, on Fri May 08. Lady Vovo warned us to be prepared for war.
