~Advice from a Caterpillar~
I posted this in my journal... well not the pictures though;

I found a little caterpillar not too long ago on some broccoli bought from the shops; and so I raised it for its foodplant did not grow in our garden. It was such a dear little thing.

After a while it turned into a chrysalis and took a little over a week to emerge as a Small White Butterfly.

I let her go in the garden and she took flight away from here. I was about to go back indoors when I noticed a butterfly land on the leaf of a bush nearby. It looked exactly like her; of course I can't be certain; Small Whites are common around were I live... but she just sat there for a moment and let me observe her quite closely where most would flutter away.
Perhaps I am ridiculous in thinking this... but maybe she was saying thank you.
