My Patron God/dess's are Freyja, Sekhmet and Horus.

confused Then from the beginning of my magical workings (consciously) I found that cursing and healing came easily for me, and somehow I'd bypass the three-fold theory. I had too be extra careful for this reason, not that I wanted to harm others, I've always been a very passive-aggressive person by nature and I never did anything thoughtlessly/without purpose.
Finally there came a time when I started having this vivid re-occuring dream where I was being guided through stone rooms and halls there would be people around doing different things in some of the areas and when I looked down at my body I was dressed (to me) strangely. In the end I’d been lead out and to a stone building that to me felt like a church/sacred pace as the lioness sat and I felt as though it had words to speak though it said not a word just made a melodious chuffing as lions do. When I entered it was bright and my body felt weighed this place was clearly familiar to me but I couldn’t remember it, it was warm and I felt sheltered by someone, welcomed and loved.
About a month after these dreams started occurring I went with my cousin to meet an older, more experienced Wiccan practitioner who for some reason asked to meet me!? She was an interesting character, very kind and knowledgeable. From the moment I walked in she called me a name, handed me a book on Egyptian magic (to which I'd looked through while there and to my shock and amazement... I'd done almost all of them!?
eek ) which left me stunned and bewildered and a little frightened even. She also gave me pictures from her trip to Egypt and an envelope with (low and behold) lions hair and a stone. (It was cut from the mane, the lion was not hurt in anyway) She told me that the lion hair and stone were for protection. I then told her (first person I talked to about it) about my dreams and how bizarre this all was to me and she just hugged me and said it will make sense someday.
Now, years later I was reading through Animal Magic by Conway and went to the back to see which animals went with which goddess’ and Sekhmet’s name stood out to me. I then remembered it standing out when I heard it the first time (watching prince of Egypt) but I was young and shrugged the familiarity of it off as “just my imagination”. So I pondered for a while then realized I didn’t know what she looked like, so I goggled images and stood in shock of the depictions of her, they matched my older drawings of a lion-woman... the woman I’ve drawn all these years.

Freyja’s role as a Norse Goddess is that of divine Hostess and Inspirer of creation. She also soothes hostilities by showing respect to even those who would harm her (example Hrungnir). As the divine Inspirer, she promotes imagination for Arts & Crafts, passion for building of all forms, and lust for procreation. Freyja is also the goddess of sorcery, and a solar Goddess like Sekhmet. Freyja owns and operates her own hall named Sessrumnir in a place named Folkvangr, where some of Her worshippers shall go to dine with her when they die. It is said “Freyja sheds tears that turn to gold when they strike the earth and amber when they strike the ocean”. It is also said, “Freyja owns a cloak or cape made from falcon feathers. Either she uses it to fly or she uses it to transform into a falcon and then fly”. Freyja is described as the greatest sorceress in the nine worlds. And Freyja’s animals are listed as the falcon, cats, horse, boar, sow, and hare.
From the beginning of my life Freyja has guided me, and without consciously knowing it, I was worshiping her since a young age despite my christian beliefs/practice. I found out who she was when I read Animal Magick however, by D.J. Conway a few years ago and from then on I had a name to place with a face. I will not go into details on the guidance she has given me, because to me, that knowledge is special/sacred. She's always been basically a mentor in my life.
