Well, first I started out with anime. Then I started thinking that the opening and ending songs were really catchy. So I looked up the artists. Then I started to listen to songs that weren't in animes. There is this group KAT-TUN, they had a show called "Cartoon KAT-TUN." They have 6 members, they would have famous guests and they would travel around Japan and try out restaurants or go on dates with the guests. What really caught my attention was the food and the places you can go! It looks like that there is so much you can do in Japan!!! I want to live there now!!

Thank you for the history lesson. xd You mentioned a lot of things that I didn't mention. I've never been to Japan. I had a chance to go to Japan and stay there for three weeks. BUT, I had school. I could have just skipped school because it was almost the end of the year anyway!! My Mom and her friend went without me. When they came back I saw their pictures and got really angry at myself. Making my longing for Japan even...... longier?

To be perfectly honest, my interest started with Rurouni Kenshin. It introduced me to some aspects of Meiji era culture in Japan and I wanted to learn more. The rest is history.
