so, i have recently been told that if i tattoo my tongue, it will fade away on it's own very quickly. is this true?

Probably, same as inner lip tattoos. The inside of your mouth heals extremely quickly, and I've never heard of an inner lip or tongue tattoo lasting a decent amount of time.

Don't waste your money.

I don't know how long they might last, but as far as I can tell it's a good few months, at least. Lemme see if I can do some digging and find some more definite information about it.

You can get it if you want to, don't let me stop you. I just personally wouldn't want to waste money and that kind of pain on something I'll just have to get totally redone later.

In case this is relevant at all,
my tongue piercing healed in about 5 days.
Compared to most piercings, that is extremely quickly because most need 6 weeks or more to heal.

Just to put it into perspective maybe.
