I got another month before I go back to my lovable crappy apartment in Calgary razz
Ugh, it's so ********' ugly, my mom watches HGTV and thinks she's an interior designer. She's really good at making rooms that look like a** but will sell for lots apparently. My bedroom is a cranberry red color, which is pretty cool, but my living room/kitchen/the big room that has everything that isn't my bedroom has depressing grey walls sad
This year I'm covering up the grey with a collage of comic book art and sexy looking biker girls razz I just need to find a way to make it look good using a printer and stuff to stick things on walls with that won't leave a mark

Chris...don't use that putty stuff...it peels paint off. Or if you do...replace it often.

too many problems with my mum. I feel like she constantly wants to start a fight with me and piss me off and do things that just annoy the s**t out of me. She acts like I'm 5 and need to tell her my every move. I am 24 years old, I don't need to tell her anything.
The other day she tried arguing with me on how loud the surround sound in the house gets. I told her to shut the ******** up and I am not fighting with her on this because the battlefield is closed.
She really irks me.

Oh, so basically the same reasons I moved out of my mom's house. My curfew was 9 for ******** sake! I was 21 at the time, I shouldn't have even had a curfew. If I had to have one it should have been 1 or something like that.
She has stopped being retarded since I moved out. Now that I have a phone that she isn't paying for she is really nice. She knows that I don't have to answer to her anymore.

Oh I have no curfew. But my mum still feels like I need to tell her where im going or what im doing. And im 24...I shouldn't have to. My brother is 23 and he doesn't. I don't know what she wants from me. She doesn't pay for my phone but even if she did I still wouldn't tell her s**t. That's what drives her crazy I think.

OMG it's exactly the same in my family. My brother doesn't have to answer for s**t! He does whatever his wants. He doesn't have a job for like 8 moths of the year (he is a raft guide in the summer, that's it.) he doesn't have to tell her where he is going. WTF? When I lived there I had to go to school full time AND work.
When I got a boyfriend (now my hubby) she called me a slut because I wanted to go and see him before I went to work.

Well isn't that some Mickey Mouse s**t? I mean our moms sound alike. My mum wanted to know what I was doing friday night...really mum...you really want to pry into my personal life like that? It is stuff you don't want to hear. And then if I told her she'd tell me I was a whore too or think bad of me. And yet, she is the one who had an affair with a married man. Parents are such hypocrites. And yeah my brother technically lives at home but is currently living with his girlfriend at a friend's house. And she doesn't know everything he does. She tries to but he avoids her. I am not so fortunate tho. She treats me like I am 4. Since I am moving in like, 3 days she hasn't really been talking to me. And my brother tells me it is because I always yell at her. Umm...duh...she treats me like a baby.

Maybe they do it because they were horrible at our age. It makes sense. They know they were retarded and irresponsible so they are trying to prevent us from making the same mistakes. Okay I understand they're reasoning but that doesn't mean that I agree with their behavior.
Does your mom assume that you are on drugs and having lots of sex? Mine did. I had only smoked weed one time and found out I was allergic and I was a virgin. She didn't believe me. She took me taking offense to what she said as getting defensive. I mean, come on, of course I'm going to be pissed off when my mom implies that I am a junkie and a whore.
