one of my friends linked me to her boyfriend's youtube video. he's a hypnotist, and in the video, he used some instant inductions. i got REALLY interested. after getting contact with him he gave me a link to a site where i learned small, basic hypnosis. just from listening and observing i learned a lot. i talked to a few more hypnotists across the net.
and then someone erotically hypnotized me and a lot of stuff happened AND NOW I'M INTO EROTIC HYPNOSIS.
i like control, or lack thereof. when dominant, i love that someone would trust me THAT much -- so then i do my best to prove that i'm trustworthy and that they made a good decision. n____n the whole proving part is much more fun than i'd think....
on the sub side, i like completely letting go of everything and just letting someone else take care of stuff for a while. and if they're a good hypnotist, i... y'know... like the feelings that come with it. 8D
but i've used hypnosis stuff for a LOT of things. i hadn't ever gotten into describing things in vivid detail before, and i learned a lot about tones and pacing and etc.. now flirting/teasing/intimidating is a lot more fun, whether i'm interested, playful, or actually... angry. o_o

For me, I think its just years of seeing it in cartoons and tv shows. I've always liked the episodes where one of the characters gets hypnotized by the villian and tries to sabotage whatever's going on. In play I'd often mimic this (often due to a lack of buying villain toys)
This interest has stayed with me over the years. Once I found hypontized pornographic images, I was hooked. Recently, I've thought about having myself hypnotized, so I started looking for sites to do that. I found here looking for a place to talk about it.

For me it was part youtube videos and part internet searches. I don't remember i first heard of hypnosis but after i started to look on the internet on information about it. That lead to looking for youtube videos about hypnosis, then i started to find other people I could talk to about the subject... And now i'm done doing the longest monologue about myself.

I always thought that it was an interesting subject and I enjoyed watching those old movies with vampires and magicians doing it. Plus I always thought that it would feel nice to just be able to relax and sink into that kind of state where you don't have to think and could let someone do that for you.

Since Anna was kind enough to be honest, I'll admit that I'm also into erotic hypnosis. Mostly being dominant. Not sure how I got into the subject in the first place, though.
Ever since I've read about it more and practiced with a friend, I can do more sensory alteration, which is what I enjoy most about it. But I'm still a beginner.

Since i was in high school, i was interested in hypnosis. I have been hypnotized twice, once by myself, once by a friend, and i am into all aspects of it.
I have practiced hypnosis for several years, i am not licensed so i do not do it professionally or for any form of payment or personal gain. I am always interested in meeting new people to talk about hypnosis or to work with if they are interested in trying it.

Hm, I'm surprised I hadn't posted here yet...
I think my first exposure to it in media was the hypnotic snake, Kaa, from The Jungle Book. There was something oddly alluring about being lulled into a drowsy trance...
An online friend of mine was interested too... and so I got to be a bit of an experimental subject. Though I'm not really hypnotized as much as I use to... ^^; I still find myself craving it every now and then. Strangely enough, I like it the most when I'm coaxed into doing some little errand for the hypnotist... Nothing big, but maybe acquiring something for the hypnotist just to show obedience. >.>; It's a shame I've yet to find a charming hypnotist that would be willing to take advantage of that.

About two years ago I did some roleplays involving hypnosis and from there I read some stories. That gradually led me to become more interested in hypnosis and I moved on to some self-hypnosis and now, occasionally, someone will do a live trance for me.
