Background: W’s father was the greatest self-made legendary Arrancar, Arturo Plateado. Over a millennium ago, Arturo Plateado was a self-made Arrancar of great power who desired to destroy all Soul Reapers. To enact his ambitions, he left Hueco Mundo and invaded the Soul Society, decimating almost half of their military forces in his initial attack. Realizing that they were not powerful enough to defeat him, the Soul Reapers were forced to resort to different measure and thus lured him into a trap and sealed him in a place below the underground chamber of Central 46. He remained trapped in an endless void for several centuries, but as time passed the seal that held him began to weaken. During his initial strike on the Soul Society his power is not yet mature, but proves more than a match for the Gotei 13’s military forces. Although he was newly born as an Arrancar, he manages to decimate half of the Soul Society’s military, becoming even more powerful with each battle by absorbing the spiritual powers of his fallen victims using the abilities of his Zanpakutō, Fenice. Even though the Soul Reapers face many losses, they eventually manage to defeat the rogue Arrancar, forcing an injured Arturo to withdraw to Hueco Mundo and heal his wounds.
When Arturo was brought back by Aizen, he had fallen in love, something that he was never able to do, due to having no one like him in the past. They had a child, but he was unable to stay in his son’s life long enough due to plans by Aizen that took him away from his son. W was named for the shape the part of his Hollow Mask was on his face that was like his father’s on both side of his face. Over the years, his mother was also taken away from him by unknown circumstances, as he was forced to fend for himself among a World of Hollows, he found refuge in a mountain far away from Aizen’s grasp and safe from Soul Reaper attempts. He grew into the exact image of his father. As he was alone, he was able to create himself a “twin” but only knew recognized him as himself. They were similar to each other in composure, however it seemed that his power of creating himself was due to the interactions his father had with two other rare souls that were also twins. They both shared the same mind, but powers and true morals were different.
V was the side of W that has some justice in what he did, and had most powers that were similar to a Soul Reaper, with a few abilities that were also from a Vizard, when he donned his Vizard’s Hollow Mask that was on the right side of his face, looking like his father. In terms of comparison to U, V is stronger in battles while his speed has decreased by a small degree. He makes up for this in his Cero.
U was the side of W that has more of a emotionless being like his father, and had powers like an Arrancar, more of what W used. His Hollow Mask, on the opposite, left side of his face; it was like a mirror image of his father’s Mask. In terms of comparison to V, U is faster in battles while his power has decreased by a small degree. He makes up for this in his Cero.
W, (both V and U,) finally at one point came to a decision to see which side he should join after witnessing so much fighting taking place in all of the Worlds. V simply made his way into the Soul Society pretending to be a Plus, as U pretended to be a Hollow who conveniently tore off his Mask when he was near the area ruled by the Espada in Hueco Mundo.
V was in Squad 1 first, as he climbed the ranks that lead him to be the Squad 5 Vice Captain at one point, and the Squad 9 Vice Captain in another point. He then was eligible to be transferred back to Squad 1, but now is sent to Squad 3 as a temporary Vice Captain. He might even stay, mainly due to the Squad 3 Captain, if she wishes him to do so. So far he was able to collect information upon the previous traitors who were responsible for him not being able to stay long enough with his father, but has yet to find information about the earlier Squad 1 Captain, to be able to understand why his father first attacked the Soul Society.
U was an Arrancar from the beginning, and only recently had shown himself to the Espada. His power did rival many, and was placed as the 10th Espada. He’s not completely into team work, rather killing all in his sight, mainly since V had gotten an easier task of living life as a Soul Reaper, while he still had to be stuck in the same place, same boring scenery, and no chance of escape. He views this as a chance to see as to why his father had hated to work with Aizen and his 'henchmen', these Espada who came after his father, finding both the good and bad.
