Tien-Lung flew high above the clouds, surveying the land. It was a warm day with a slight cool breeze washing over the area now and then. He had claimed his territory around a large lake with a mountain terrain, which held many caves. His of course was the largest of the caves. Tien wasn't as interested in having other Dreich around him as he was being alone. However, he knew that in order to control the land around him he would need to have some followers. As he continued to fly through the clouds he thought about what type of Dreich would follow him. They would need to be strong, witty, and willing to do his bidding.
After several minutes of flying Tien began to fly down towards the ground as fast as his wings would allow. He loved the feel of the wind against his back and flowing over his wings. He braced himself as he landed with a large thud. A small grin crossed Tien's face, as he hoped that the thud would bring a long someone worth fighting. He felt almost invincible, celestial in fact. Of course, his name did mean Celestial Dragon.
Tien walked a few feet over towards the lake that he had marked as being in his territory. There were small woodland animals drinking from the lake, which annoyed him more then anything. He gently raised his front right foot and slammed it down hard on the ground, causing the animals to cry out in freight and run back into the forest. Briefly Tien had contemplated controlling at least the lake and forest, however, flying would be difficult with a bunch of tree's in the way. He shook his head lightly to clear his thoughts. Tien lowered his mouth to the water and began to drink.

It was a cool breeze in the air that convinced Misha to venture out and explore a bit this day. She normally didn't emerge from her cave in the mountainside during the day unless it was overcast, but she had to admit the sun did bring out more color in the foliage. She started the day with a walk in the forest below, to stretch her legs. She walked about a mile or two to a small pond to get a drink. After she was refreshed she decided it was time to stretch her wings.
Misha loved to fly, it kept her away from others. She could easily avoid any she may even encounter flying, for she could fly higher above the clouds then most would like. Being from much colder lands she reveled in the cooler air above the clouds and in them. As she flew she weaved in and around clouds, shaping them as she wished. She tried to decide where to go, what there was to see that she hadn't yet seen....
She continued her flight and lowered her altitude when she decided she was thirsty again. She lowered enough to see woods below and another mountain. She had indeed found a new area to explore a bit. As she lowered herself to the forest's floor she heard a large gust of wind and far off 'thud'. She shrugged it off thinking it was another dreich somewhere in the distance, though she hoped she would be unfortunate enough as to cross paths with it.
She continued her walk through the forest till she could smell a fresh water lake. She could smell snow before it dropped from the clouds and could smell rain miles off. She loved and missed snow, but she was Very fond of water and a good swim. As she neared the edge of the forest she heard a loud thud and as she past the tree line she saw the source. It was a male dreich ~great, just great~, she thought to herself. She didn't give a damn she was thirsty so she continued to walk to the lake ignoring him completely. Ice followed her every step, as it always did. When she reached the waters edge she moved to a small bank so she could lightly have her front feet in the water to cool them and to cool the water. As she bent down to drink a thin film of ice formed in a large area, almost half way from her bank to the one across from her. As she finished drinking she waded in the water a little further to help cool the rest of her body off. She then exited the now partially icy lake and ruffled her wings and walked back towards the forest's edge to take her leave.

Tien stopped drinking from the lake when ice started to form just a couple inches from his mouth. He lifted his head to see a young female walking into the lake and causing ice to form through out it. Well isn't that great. He thought before he let out a breath of fire on the water, causing it to heat up enough to spread over to where the female was. Tien didn't like it when others messed with his things, and the lake was his. After he was done heating up the water he walked closer to the edge where the female was. He could see that she had ice covering parts of her body and that her wings were unusual.
"Leave my territory before I burn you alive." Tien said in an even tone before he let out another small breath of fire. This time he only blew it into the air instead of into the water. After he was done he waited for the female to respond. He wasn't in the mood for a fight, but he was more then willing to through her little behind as far off his land as he possibly could. Sorry it's so short. ^^;

Rin scoffed at the male and his threat. She walked towards the forest but then turned back to the male. "I'd like to see you try...boy! And what exactly makes this your territory?", she gave him a devious smirk. She'd dealt with her fair share of the over confident and cocky males. She was due for some fun.
She examined the male some, knowing from earlier he was fire and she was ice would prove to make the game very interesting. She hadn't been this interested in another dreich in a very long time. She continued to examine him, reading him...
((no worries, mine is shorter XD....Let the games begin ^_^))

A small grin crossed Tien's mouth. He was pumped up for a fight now. Especially with this young and devilish female. Tien put both of his feet in front of him and blew steam out of his nose. He watched the female dreich with curiousity. She seemed to be interested in him, but he assumed it was because of his fire breathing.
"The fact that it has my scent all over it. And that I am the one protecting the area." Tien would be damned if someone was going to stand on his own territory mocking him. Without much more thought Tien flew towards the female's side, hoping to make contact. He had made the first move, but it was just to distract the female from his actual strength.

Rin had a devilish smirk on her face, curious of the fire this naive male had, and she was interested in the fire-breathing too. She thought it would prove to be a fun game seeing which could truly win out: Fire or Ice? She watched the steam escape from his nostrils and she prepared herself to be swift in her next movements should need to. Rin was always on guard.
He then flew at her, but she was ready and easily avoided it with a chuckle, letting an icy fog travel down to him slightly as she landed behind him.
"A scent is nothing but a scent boyo. And as for protecting, it seems more like you are here just to dominate all those Weaker then you!", she said with an unwavering icy tone.

Tien chuckled as he turned back towards the female. She didn't seem to think of the best way to beat her foe. If she would have lunged at him right after she had dodged she would have more then likely hit him. "If was just going to dominate those that are weaker then me then I would have tried to dominate you already my dear. Your logic is flawed. One day I plan on having a clan of strong Dreich's that can hold their own." Tien spoke to the female.
She was peculiar, definitely worth looking more into. Maybe she would be useful to him, he could use her intellect. Of course he wouldn't exspect her to just give in, actually he wouldn't want her to. Then it would just be a waste. "Hmmm.... You are very... Interesting." He admitted. He wouldn't make a move on her again. At least not quite yet, he would see what she could be used for. If anything at all.

Rin smirked at him, he was pig-headed that's for sure. But still, he interested her somewhat. She gave an evil chuckle as he spoke words of idiocy. "Oh really, but you know that's not true, if you thought you could dominate me boyo, you would of tried instead of playing a younglings game. You have strength but lack severely in strategy....that's knowledge boyo. But you have to have some sense you know I'm no Weak female...never trust your eyes"
She moved in a pacing manner watching him, studying his every feature, the slightest move, everything. She was waiting for an opportune chance. She was not one to attack first. She mostly took a defensive tact to begin, especially against one who thinks too highly of himself, he would have to learn quick.
"And as to your own clan....well good luck with that, even the weakest female can find the weak point in ANY male, especially the pig-headed brutes. Though I will admit you too are an interest if only slightly.", she gave a huff and an icy fog out of her nostrils, all the while holding her smirk on her face and ice forming continuously around her feet and tips of her wings.

Tien stayed in his position, following her with his eyes. "I do admit you are smart for a female. However, you lack the strength in battle. Very cunning though." He continued to admit. He wasn't pig-headed in anyway but he also wasn't going to let her see that side of him, at least not yet. One thing that hadn't obviously occurred to her yet is that he was testing her.
He was pushing her to see what she was capable of. "I know I can. I am not interested in dominating someone like you." Tien said with a smirk. "Your not worth the time." He spoke coyly. He waited for her to make a move of any kind, something that would leave her open for a sneak attack.

She chuckled again, he was almost taunting her, she may have a temper, but she was not intimidated at all by this male. "I do not lack the strength as you think. It is in fact in enhanced by the strength of the mind. Brute strength alone will get you no where."
She sat calmly infront of him, forever watching him, she could feel that his muscles were contracting, ready to strike the minute her guard was down, but she wasn't about to let that happen. "No, you just know you won't be able to dominate me. You are not as weak-minded as you seem, I know that much."
She hid behind her mask, her thoughts unknown to any, one her special traits is no one could read her, save for one who was long gone....She kept watch on the male, her gaze never wavering. She tuned out the sounds of nature around her and listened to nothing but the sound he made. She felt the vibration through the ground and his slightest move.
"I believe it is you who are not breath my time, so I shall take my leave and you may continue to 'protect the area.", she said moving sideways and then towards him a bit then passing him letting her ice travel to touch his foot. This was indeed a taunt in a way. As he was testing her, she was in turn testing him. She had a feeling this would be an entertaining happenstance.

Tien grined at the female. She would definatly be fun to 'play' with for a little while longer. He had a gut feeling she was testing him as well, but he wasn't quite sure. However, he decided his gut was more then likely correct. "You have the intelligence of battle and I have the strength. Interesting." He replied to her first comment. "I'm rather cunning. You are correct in that hypothesis." He said calmly.
Tien felt ice touch his foot and moved it slightly so that it wouldn't caught. He knew she was taunting him, and he honestly enjoyed it. She was an equal match in many ways. He would pursuade her in some way to be used for later. Of course he wasn't sure what he would do with her just yet. But that didn't matter much to him at the moment, he would figure it out sometime later.
He moved casually away from the direction the female had gone. As he walked he payed attention to all sounds that came from her. He wasn't going to let his guard down around her, that was for sure. He turned slightly and looked at the female. "I wonder if you can fly properly with all that ice on you." Tien said curiously as he lightly flapped his wings to show that he wanted her to show him that she could indeed fly.

She knew that he guessed she was testing him as he was her. She laughed a bit at his first remark. "Oh, I know I have intelligence of battle, as you put it, but don't doubt my strength. Im much stronger then I look.", she said this is defiant yet sultry tone as she got closer to him again almost in his face.
She laughed a bit and circled him one and then stopped in front of him again. She was so close to him, that their nose almost touched his. She looked in his eyes, with a sultry expression.
Her ice began to travel along the ground, but she stopped it's movement right before it would of touched him. She smirked and flexed her wings, little shards of ice falling around them. "You'd be surprised how light I am and how nimble i am in the sky." She smirked at him, keeping close eye contact. Her maroon eye flickered with almost a fire at the though of really flying and showing off in a way.

Tien's body shimmered in the reflection of the ice. He stared at the female before he blew steam out of his nostrils. "Well we shall have to test that." He replied as he lightly flapped his large wings, allowing himself to hover slightly above the ground. "I think this contest should be to see how long of a distance the other can fly." Tien nodded. He flew up into the sky and hovered as he waited for the ice female to join him. This would be an interesting event, and he wondered who would come out the winner. He grinned a little as he felt the adrenaline pumping through his veins and muscles.

Misha smirked at the thought, she could use a good stretch of her wings, it'd been awhile since she truly worked them out. Her wings twitched at the thought of it. She shook her wings before she dashed in the the sky. She was faster then most, and definitely faster then she appeared seeing as she had heavy ice that constantly formed. "A test of endurance then, very well. Would you like to put any rules, a marker of sorts anywhere, a goal line", she said holding her smirk and hovering over the ground.

Tien thought for a moment before he replied. "How about we race from here to the Freckled Islands." Tien said with a devilish grin. He lined up next to her and counted down from ten. "... 3... 2.... 1... Go!" He said as he began to race towards the Islands. He could see she was keeping pace easily with him and it frustrated him. Tien tried to fly as fast as he could, without using to much of his energy. He knew he would need it later for other tests.
