do Artistic Scars count? i noticed that there wasn't a separate Subforum or Threads for Scars, so i have to ask if that means they qualify as Tattoos by definition (or default) here.
cause i havn't gotten Inked yet, just Scarred. most of them are simple byproducts of activities and circumstance, but one is ... Ritual, in a sense, and another is as Decoration.
actually, those two are Brands, specifically. Burn-Scars. i have them both in one picture. it's a little blurry, so please excuse the lack of quality operating devices i have.

the 8 rays are supposed to be Chaos Star. it was self-administered, which i know is frowned upon by most of you here, but it was just a loyalty thing in an S&M relationship. i might still get her name next to it, since she still has my name in two places on her body next to scars i had her carve into herself...

you can't see it clearly in the blur of the camera, but above that i have an even earlier Scar. it's not my proudest one, but the fact that it hasn't healed in 3 years is good for me, considering i still need the backup now that i got myself in trouble.... it's a cigarette burn i got in highschool, just before dropping out, when i joined a gang. i stepped down from Banging a year after that, and got my High School Diploma with a GED test.
there's more to the story, but it's personal.
