Biography: Sakura Mizoto was born on Ember Island of a middle-class family. Her mother Mae worked as a seamstress, while her father Kamura taught Firebending to children and adults. Sakura's brother Kio is exactly 3 years and 3 days older than her, and they have a very close bond. Kamura taught them all about firebending. Sakura's early childhood was filled with joy and laughter until one day, when Kamura received a letter. It stated that he would be drafted into the army to help fight a minor war going on between the nations, and a week later, the troops came to take him away. Mae and Kio worried about Kamura all the time, but Sakura had faith that her skillfull father would come back a hero (She was only 6 years old). Unfortunately, that faith failed Sakura. Six months after Kamura had left (Sakura is now 7 years old; Kio is 10), Mae received another letter stating that Kamura had been killed in the war. The Mizoto family was devestated, especially Sakura, for getting her hopes so high. After Kamura's death, Sakura trained even harder to become a great firebender like her late father. She also taught herself how to fight skillfully with swords and knives. Finally, at the age of 19, Sakura moved to the Fire Nation Capital and became a servant to the Fire Lord. She loves her job, but misses her family, who visits her every now and then. She also wishes for love; preferably someone to spend the rest of her life with.
