I had been hearing this around alot.
When it comes to finding submissives, do you think there is a bias towards females? Whether it means Females in general or the effeminate man (or sometimes sissyfication?) where either the boy wants to be female or pretends to be.
EDIT: also, when it comes to submissives, or even dominants, what kind do you prefer and why?

I don't think there is a bias, people are what they are and they shouldn't be expected to be dom or sub based only upon gender. There are probably effeminate men out there who are also dom.
I'd have to say dominats since they seem to be more rare to find.

I dont think it is that they say "oh your female so you MUST be sub" I think it is more that I've seen complaints of "all anyone wants is girls" when it comes to submissives, I know there are exceptions though. I usually go for everything

I think that's more attraction towards a specific gender rather than prefer only women for submission. I'm a switch so I like females for both sub and dom.

There are female doms sprinkled around too. I guess I'm a bit ambiguous. I like male and female with sub and dom, even if I have kind of restricted it to one or two revolving doms.

I know this. They're much more rare than the sub ones though, at least with my experience. Well I'm just bias I guess since I restrict myself to females.

ehhh i notice that a lot of people will go sub for you, of either gender. a lot of guys ask me to be dominant in roleplays or hypnosis or anything related to yeah hypnosis orrrr... well another one of my interests is bondage so. & with girls it's the same, although it doesn't happen nearly as often since it's harder to find girls that like girls in the first place(or it takes longer to charm them enough to get over it).
i haven't met a pure dom in a long, long time o_o if i did, it was a guy or a sexist extremely dominant lady?!?!?!? i'm not sure what was going on there. there's only one i REALLY know and he's a guy.
but looking at everything, it's probably guy subs feel more shy about letting anyone know.... plus maybe some society factors and whatever.
i prefer sub or dom or SWITCH <333, considering i'm the latter leaning towards dom. ohhh mannnn i LOOOOVE the idea of a switch-leaning-towards-dom paired with the same @___@ it's like... first of all, they both put up an awesome fight. the winner knows exactly what to do, whereas if a sub were to win they'd probably just back off or LET the other person win or something.... and the loser will enjoy it. <333 and if that loser were to break free at any time and they have a playfight thing again, then the loser STILL knows what to do if they win. OH YEAH. LOVEEEE. it's so hard to find one D: i guess i've met one or two guys like that, but they sorta acted like a sub the entire time ._. the fact that i'm moooostly lesbian doesn't really help, since it seems that most girls that DO become switches or dominants don't find out until they're older. ALL of the girls in my high school seem to be sub D:
which is ok. free practice~~~. i like how subs seem to be subby for you as long as you're dominant and not a total... HDAIFJKLGNAD;FKJNK;nadfgkljadgnkladfjgn idiot.
and dominant people totally amaze me too because they're so picky, a lot of the time.
<3 people.

I mean I always thought if you liked that kind of relation (the one you described) there would be many gaians who would do that for you. but you say there is almost no one confused strange anyway I don't have much experience so I shouldn't be talking so confidently. just a comment

heheheh it's funny. i have almost no experience~, save for reading a bageebus load and messing around with my long distance girlfriend and some simple childhood games.
BUT YEAH. faking confidence is another thing. i used to be a total sub but i WANTED to be part dom 'cause there's such a high "demand" for them ( razz ) andddddd you just fake it and after faking it for a while... SHIBAM.
people can't tell how you feel, only how you look surprised if you LOOK comfortable, then you might as well be comfortable. unless you're like a bad actor or they're an expert reader then yeah. BUTTTTTtttt k nothing else to say done 8D

Of course there's a bias for females! Anybody could have told you that. And it's pretty much simplistic. I think it's mostly not just the gender, but the usual traits associated with it. Just a few examples, so feel free to say you're unique/
Im my experience, Guys that are dom, are usually only interested in exploring some kind of sexual roleplay, and not really much else. They typically focus on the "classic" sort of things, repeated commands, doing things. "against your will" And other things that seem taboo.. Other than the occasional "Yes Master" And a desire to hear pleasure from those they capture, I'd say that's about all they want.
Im my experience, that's all you have to do to catch a maledom eye. (Not that it's hard or anything)
Now for a female, I can hear ,it. "Oh boy, Scotty's about to make a sexist comment." Probably. But, As I've noticed, women, they like it for it's aspect of pleasure, but.. Well..
Why just get a picture, when draining wallets and the like is so fun? Yes, you too can pay a woman 100+ dollars in the real world for this kind of thing, and you'll have a nice halfhour to hour depending on that. People like that idea very much, media and other such things have sort of ingrained the "sexy evil hypnotist" that people seem to crave. Now, seeing this trend of. "hey, if I'm a girl, I can trance others, and get things!"
Not in every case does this happen, but I rarely see any hypnotism that was "for the subjects benefit" unless that happened to be a pleasure romp they sought.
In any case, and almost any society, the mystique of the rarity of a female into hypnosis, is pretty much going to overtake even the most powerful male hypnotist. It's just the way it is. Given that today's society is MUCH more focused on pleasure and gratification, rather than actually applying a more sensible use of such a thing..
Eventually triggers and other things loop, and soon they find they want more and more. In any case, it's tough for a nice subby to find his way around here. I've also noticed females are amazingly less likely to "Oh I got to go." after the big deal. s they tend to be panting heavily, and wanting more and more.
Remember kids, if you made her explode, and she suddenly has to go. It's time to check who's really under there. =) I've got no problem with that at all, I'd just prefer if they actually said so.
Also as a random question, Are males or females more likely to have an unsafe trance, where they will suddenly leave mid-trance, without any backdoor for waking up or emergencies? If you're gonna practice this, or play with it, you should be extremely careful. =)
And haha Turtle. You must have yet to find out that people aren't exactly always looking to help others with this kind of thing. It tends to be a very selfish sort of pleasure. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. And then you find that all your hypnotism will lead to a mindset of "Love" And that is truly dangerous, when one manipulates emotions with trance.
Oh, and does the female bias count with the "females" who are just guys with those avatars geared towards the fetish? Or i that more towards the male side instead of female. Any thoughts?

Oh, and does the female bias count with the "females" who are just guys with those avatars geared towards the fetish? Or i that more towards the male side instead of female. Any thoughts? I agree, there is a bias, but for a rather good reason; case in point, I'm hetero. I'll hypnotize male friends if they want me to put a fun trigger in them and they don't know any other hypnotist. I won't freak out if a guy comes to me wanting to be hypnotized either, but when I'm looking for a subject, I would rather look for someone who matches my interests than desperately snatch at anybody like a starving puppy. As far as hypnosis for the sub's sake, that does still happen, if you find the right hypnotist. Ruetha is really good about it, and I also put the sub first, first three triggers I ever put in when I trance someone are always first a safeword, then a happy-word (as in they know to say this word if I do something they really like) and a pleasure trigger.
