Hurts like the dickens

Mike walked along the path winding through the large cemetary..he's always solemn, always serious. He jokes around once in a while, not alot. When he laughs, he laughs alot. He stopped trotting through the path when he got to a grave.

Robert Miydil

1982 - 2004

His brother had been murdered years ago. He still remembered being told the horrible news. He kneeled and put down a white box. "You told me to take good care of this. I decided it should be with you." He took a trowel, and buried the white box near the tombstone. A tear streamed down his cheek, full of sadness and anger. He knew that his brother's killer was still alive somewhere. It gave him a stomach ache. "I will find your killer. I will avenge your death." He stared at the stone, the poem engraved on the stone, and his brother's name.

In the still of the hour, a car pulls up, and he steps out. He walks through, making his way to the grave. The dirt still looks disturbed, and the grass planted over it has yet to take seed. He stands there in front of the stone.

Nicholi Nevermore

1954 - 2006

Beloved father, Governor, and Friend to the City
May the eath that gave ye life,
Give ye comfort in death.

He sits by the stone, and lays his head on it, looking off into space. So many times he has thought about using his gift to say some words, to try to reach him... but he shudders at the thought, and remains silent.

Akemi wanders into what appears to be a cemetary. She glances at the headstones, each one bearing some name. "Geez, if this isn't creepy," she mutters to herself, stepping around the plants and photos laying on top of the graves. "Nice though, much quieter than the streets."
She heads towards the gates, and stops, glancing out around her, "wonder what they were like, happy, lonely, angry, miserable...guess I'll never know." She heads out of the cemetary, right back the way she came, humming the whole way.

Trowa strolls down the pathway towards that ever so dreaded yet very dear gravestone, along the way he spots Nate, "Best not to bother him" He says to himself, he shortly after spots another less familar figure, and proceeds to stand next to him unintentionally overhearing the last of his apparent mumbling. "Revenge is never the answer, but I can see why you would think so..just think before you act," he says in a somewhat calming tone. He continues down the path once more, coming to the stone which he is tied with.

Allison Flowers

Taken in her prime but in peace,
her soul lies in eternal bliss,
never to be forgotten.

Trowa sobbed slighty, a rather rare occurance(almost as rare as me in a forum Rp!) then stood up and continued back along that path which he came, flashing a very brief very forced smile as he looked back. When he reached the parking lot he straddled his motorbike started the engines and slowly rode off.

His finger tracing over the lines and curves of the letters of his father's name, he slowly drifts into a state of near-sleep, his mind darting in many different directions.

Perhaps he could use his gift, just once, just to send a message of love...

He dreams a waking dream of his father, glad to see him, lifting back the veil between worlds and beaming with pride. But he is awake enough to know that it isn't real--of all the times he has summoned the dead, or observed them, they never looked happy.

Using his gift to talk to his father, it just wouldn't be right.

She walks into the cemetery, running her hands over the tombstones, brushing the leaves and dirt off of them. She nods her head at a few spirits standing near by, watching her brush their stones clean.

Following close by, Thomas walks next to her with his hands in his coat pocket, "I thought the place looked fine."

She grumbles and shakes her head in disagreement, "The walls were so white I was getting a headache, I can't stay there until I get some paint." Her eyes widen when they come across something she recognized, "Thomas Jones."

She smiles and sits down next to the tombstone and brushes it clean with her hand, "Here we are."

He sits down next to her and grins, "No matter how long you've been dead, it's still scary knowing your own body is lying 6 feet under you."

She smiles at this and rests her back up against the stone, then her eyes caught a glimpse a small statue lying beside the stone and she picks it up. "It's a statue of one of the saints."

He crawls closer to her and looks the statue over, "Hmm...that's new." He sits back down and doesn't say anything else.

"Well, you think it could be from someone you know?" He shrugs his shoulders and lies down on the grass, staring at the clouds. "My wife died fourteen years ago and my son... he doesn't know about me."

She sets the statue on the top of the stone and lies next to him, "Well, hopefully whoever it’s from is around still, maybe they are the key to me helping you."

He grins and lays on his side, resting his head on his hand, looking straight at her, "I like to think I'm here to help you."

She rolls her eyes and stares up at the clouds, "I bet you do."

He looks once more at the statue, and then does the same.

"Do you think that detective found them yet?" Thomas glances over at her, studying her for a moment before answering, "Na, not yet."

She closes her eyes, smiling; "Good..." yawning, she begins to drift off, the morning sun shining down on them.

Once she has fallen asleep, Thomas stands back up, looking the statue over once again. It was of the Saint of Lost Souls, he had never been religious, but this was one saint he had grown to know.

Looking back down at Charlie, he knelt beside her, “I’ve got to, I’ve missed it too much.” A second later, his eyes fluttered open and he was looking up at the clouds. Sitting back up, his hands felt Charlie’s smooth face and her brown hair; he looked down at his chest and saw Charlie’s breasts and her hands.

He stands up and looks around, feeling the sunlight warm his skin. He smiles at the other spirits who quietly watch him, a few looking slightly disgusted with what he had done. He ignores their accusing looks and picks up the statue stuffing it in Charlie’s bag before walking out of the cemetery.

As Kace journeyed out of the bookstore, stumbling, as usual, on things that weren't even there, she pondered where she ought to go next. Biting loosely on her bottom lip, she wandered about, moving through alleyways, around buildings and people, all together fairly ignored. Her gift allowed for her to move without notice through the streets, staying as close to the buildings as possible in the hopes of not running into anyone.

After several spaced-out moments of walking, Kace was surprised to find herself at a cemetary. Tilting her head to the side, she surveyed the various gravestones and beautiful trees.

A bright smile journeying out on her lips, she entered silently and walked slowly, taking everything in. For some reason, cemetaries had always been a place of wonder and peace for Kace.
