In the last month or so you guys have become a second family to me, and as such, I would like you guys to help me make a very big decision, one which will impact the rest of my life. I am going through a divorce and one of the issues, still unresolved is, what I want my last name to be after it is all said and done. I would deeply appreciate everyones input.

Let me give you a little background information. I was born Nina Beth Spaniolo. Whithin two years of that birth, Dad was out of the picture. Soon after that Mom, who believes that the whole world should revolve around her, decided that she would just drop her last name altogether and just tack her middle name on to my first two names. I became Nina Beth Carol. ( Yeah, I know NBC...proud as a peacock) Because of my mother's personallity, I always lived in her shadow. Then I married and just changed shadows. Now that I am coming into my own, I have found the desire to re-create myself, but am having difficulty deciding what that creation should be called. So here I am seeking the wisdom of my new family. I am open to answering questions, if it will help you all, to get to know me.
