some verses on missions.
2KI 17:27 Then the king of Assyria gave this order: "Have one of the
priests you took captive from Samaria go back to live there and teach the
people what the god of the land requires."
28 So one of the priests who had been exiled from Samaria came to live in
Bethel and taught them how to worship the LORD.
1CH 16:23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day
after day.

peoples.

sing praises to your name.

ISA 43:6 I will say to the north, 'Give them up!' and to the south, 'Do
not hold them back.' Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends

formed and made."
JON 3:1 Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time:
2 "Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give
you."
3 Jonah obeyed the word of the LORD and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a
very important city--a visit required three days.
4 On the first day, Jonah started into the city. He proclaimed: "Forty
more days and Nineveh will be overturned."
5 The Ninevites believed God. They declared a fast, and all of them, from
the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.
6 When the news reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took
off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the
dust.
7 Then he issued a proclamation in Nineveh: "By the decree of the king and
his nobles: Do not let any man or beast, herd or flock, taste anything; do
not let them eat or drink.
8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call
urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence.
9 Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce
anger so that we will not perish."
MAT 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole

ACT 10:9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and
approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.
10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was
being prepared, he fell into a trance.
11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to
earth by its four corners.
12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of
the earth and birds of the air.
13 Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
14 "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure
or unclean."
15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that
God has made clean."
16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to
heaven.
17 While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent
by Cornelius found out where Simon's house was and stopped at the gate.
18 They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying
there.
19 While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to
him, "Simon, three men are looking for you.
20 So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I
have sent them."
13:2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit
said, "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have
called them."
3 So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and
sent them off.
4 The two of them, sent on their way by the Holy Spirit, went down to
Seleucia and sailed from there to Cyprus.
47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "'I have made you a light
for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
26:14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in
Aramaic, 'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick
against the goads.'
15 "Then I asked, 'Who are you, Lord?' "'I am Jesus, whom you are
persecuting,' the Lord replied.
16 'Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint
you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen of me and what I
will show you.
17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am
sending you to them
18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a
place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'
