 Only found in the wastelands of the Earth Kingdom is a secluded training ground for benders of all type. The air of the training grounds are pure and clean, much like the water and soil. The outer area of the forest is a wasteland full of boulders and is scorched from a cloudless sky where the sun burns brightly, perfect for both fire benders and earth benders. This land can only be found by bending masters who have trained here. The training grounds were found by the master water bender, Yun Sung, who trained here for fifteen years. He gave the knowledge to all of the grandmasters of each nation and element, who sore that only the masters may know the knowledge. This place is for training the future masters of each bending style.

Yun Sung
The one whos fists flow like the gentle river.
From the seering heat of the wastelands and into the cool shade and misty air of the secluded forest, known by many as the "Master's Shangri-la." Only known to the masters of bending to each nation, this land can only be traversed by them and their chosen pupils. Yun turns to the princess of the Northern Water Tribe.
"Now...your training begins. The water here is as pures as the ice in the northern and southern lands. Show me what you can do with it."

Katrina looked at him "Okay..." she brought her hands up and the water became a string round her she grabbed it making a whip and throwing it at him

The one whos fists flow like the gentle river.
Yun watched teh whipe come at him as he raised his hand and caught it as if it were a solid whip.
"You're too slow..."
He breathed in and blow a cold stream of air as the whip turned into pure ice and freezing over her hand.
"That straightforward attack like that is easy to read and can even be countered by a fire bender."

The one whos fists flow like the gentle river.
Before she knew it, Yun was right infront of her. He thrusts his hand at her stomach, without even touching her, and launches her back into the shallow river. He walks up to the shore.
"Never, NEVER close your eyes to the enemy. You must learn to have constant concentration and complete control over your psychy in order to control ice, let alone water."
Yun raised his fist and focused his chii into his fist. It eminated out of it and was visible to the princess.
"This is chii. Martial artists dedicate their lives to learning how to control it as a defensive and offensive source of energy. You were hit by a weak blast of chii. Unlike being a fire or air bender, earth and water benders are limited by their source of power. Therefore, when you run out of water, you use your chii in martial arts. Now, before we start on training your bending or your hand to hand combat, we'll start with meditation, in order to perfect your concentration."

Katrina coughed and stood up in the water with her being wet she bended the water off of her and went on the shore as if nothing happened "fine i wont close my eyes..."

Yun shook his head as he sat in an meditative stance.
"At your level, you wouldn't even be able to control your chii without closing your eyes. We meditate now. You need to focus on the sound and movements of the water and control your chii so it flows like the river. You do this by training your concentration and ability to keep your cool."

Yun also watched the water and focused his chii as it began to rise from his body like heat.
"Watch the water. See how it is in perfect harmony with its surroundings. The rocks and roots do not restrict it, for it finds a way around it. It flows over, to the side, or under the obstacle. You, right now, have yet to allow your chii to flow freely in you like the water. When you are able to control your chii, then you can guide it to wherever you want it to go, much like the river guides the water to the ocean. Concentrate, and look for your chii."

Katrina nodded at the statement. She felt something from her core go up into her arms then her fingers she felt it flow but not like the river. She exhaled then it flowed but not enough so she inhaled it flowed once more. Katrina grew a smile on her face she felt the chii.

Katrina exhaled and inhaled. Every time the chii going in and out flowing and re flowing. she kept feeling more and more control over the chii. The more she inhaled the lower the lower chii flower the more inhaled the more higher the chii flowed. She wanted to tell The teacher but she didn't wanna lose concentration.

Yun nodded as he got up and walked to the water.
"Very good. Now, a bender's abilities to use their element as a defensive shield over an offensive weapon is a nearly unbreakable shield when looked though the eyes of a mere soldier or student bender. It is like the fish in the water. When in the water, the fish can swiftly dodge an attacker outside of the water by swiftly following the current. However, what happens when you get rid of the water?"
Yun stands in the water and watches the fish start to swim upstream. He breathed in and out, focusing his chii into his fist. He punches at the water, sending his chii straight across the stream, parting the water. He quickly grabs three fish as they flopped defensively on the sandy floor. The water returns to normal.
"If you can get close and inside the bender's range of attack, you can focus your chii into your fist or any part of your body and hit them directly, however, without making contact. Like the fish, if you get rid of their defense, they cannot move or retreat. Now, I want you to try what I did and catch the fish. If you do not, then you will go without dinner or breakfast the next morning until you do."
Yun walks on shore and starts to prepare a fire.

Katrina sighed "Now a good time to work on my diet." She says as she steps in the water she focuses her chii. The next Moment she punches the water but it doesn't part enough to grab a fish. are you serious?! Katrina paces back and forth thinking. She sighed and brought her hands down to focus and she steps on the water with nothing happening
