Being the Idiot I am I didn't exactly know what Blasphemy meant so i looked it up..

I got..

blasphemous - grossly irreverent toward what is held to be sacred;

Irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable

blaspheme - Things said against the Church or God

To commit blasphemy; to speak against God or religious doctrine

blasphemous - Lacking piety or respect for the sacred. Resembling blasphemy

In the sense of speaking evil of God

And.. I didn't know what to think of it. ..

Judging by the lyrics, and the live video I saw of him talking right before this song and dedicating it to 'your conservative Christian friends", I think it's talking about how the bible teaches everyone to be one certain way, and that it's the only way you can be.

"Through sadness you have taught us to be one with the crowd
Unveil the sacred order, hymns of falling down
You told the greatest stories, of love and bleeding crowns
But to the sick and hungry, you cannot be found"

Those are the opening lines. I think it's talking about Jesus and the bible.

But as far as the title, I'm a little confused. Going off your definitions of Blasphemy, 'Sweet Blasphemy' sounds like an oxymoron. One theory: going against the bible, and how it tells you how to act, is sweet. xD

blasphemy is also something that is considered crazy. like a person from cookie-cutter suburbs getting a tattoo and multiple piercings. idk why that scenario popped into my head, but there's an example
so, the song could mean
"yeah, you want us to that, we're doing this instead to rebel, and it feels nice to rebel"
