The Agrarian Zone is the massive area of land in between the two walls that is mainly used for a food supply. In times of war, if the first wall was ever breached (Gods forbid!), the Agrarian Zone would be a kind of buffer between the attackers and the second wall. A raised platform holds a train-like system of cars that are propelled by earthbenders to move civilians and soldiers throughout the Agrarian Zone.Quote: Just outside the lower ring, between the outer wall and the inner wall of the city is the agrarian zone, a large underdeveloped area that holds wide open plains of land, used mainly for agricultural purposes. Despite its vital wildlife and crops resources, the agrarian zone's primary function is serving as a massive land buffer between the outer wall and the inner wall, where all of the Ba Sing Se residents dwell, widening the gap between invaders and citizens if perchance the outer wall was ever breached. With a self-sustaining supply of food and added protection from siege, the citizens of Ba Sing Se are capable of maintaining daily routine, if not thriving, in the midst of even the most critical of wars. This area in the city houses many farms belonging to citizens, mostly of the Lower Ring, who live behind the Inner Wall and travel outside to tend to the land every day.

Luo Agagisan of the Fire Nation ran up to the station platform and waited as the train came. It slowly came into sight. The train was basically four cars together on a railway. The cars had slanted, Earth Kingdom-style roofs and paper windows that led a sufficient amount of sunlight in. He saw that two Earthbenders were pushing the train from behind. The paper doors opened and Luo got on the train. Benches were connected to the walls and were filled with passengers, poor refugees, rich nobles, and court officials alike were on the train.

Kikio followed in right behind Luo. She looked around at the others and sat down beside him. The train was absolutely amazing. she had heard stories from Tio about how the train was powered by two earthbenders in the back of the stone cars.

Luo Agagisan smiled and sat next to Kikio. He opened the paper windows with wooden frames and looked outside, admiring the vast farming land and also the large stone railway bridge they were on. "Amazing... the best of Earthbending technology. Reminds you of home, doesn't it?" he asked Kikio.

"Somewhat." She smiled softly as she glanced out the window at all the farms below. She swung her legs slightly back and forth as she sat on the bench. It did remind her of home, it saddened her that her family wasn't here to see this.

"Well, I have to get a painting of this. Unlike my pipa and fighting skills my drawing isn't so good. Not a single storyteller will mention this, but the legendary swordsman and inventor Sokka was a horrible artist." Luo Agagisan sighed. The train began to move, rumbling softly along the stone railroad and pushed by two Earthbending engineers. "Nice. This goes through the entire city as well."

Kikio laughed softly, "Well, just so you know, my drawing skills are okay, not the best but better than some other people. I bet he was a terrible artists." She said with a grin as the train was pushed forward.

Luo Agagisan looked upwards at the PA system as it said, "Next stop is the Lower Ring, Inner Wall station. Ladies and gentlemen, if you see any suspicious activity please report it to the Ba Sing Se police or a Monorail Employee. Thank you for using Ba Sing Se Monorail!" "Well, I guess we're near the Lower Ring, a horrible but charming place to be. We might even be robbed!" he grinned and chuckled as he shuffled his bag and got out a pair of sunglasses and wore them.

"Oh yes, we'll so get robbed." Kikio said jokingly as she rolled her eyes. "If one comes close to us, can I beat him?"

((Sigh... it's just us again, right? Others logged off.))
Luo Agagisan smiled. "Of course. Whatever you want. I've even packed a spare sword for you. But, I'm sure you don't need it." The train slowly stopped and the doors opened. Luo walked outside as the PA system said, "This stop is Lower Ring, Inner City station. Next stop is Lower Ring, Iroh Street. Stand clear of the closing doors please." Luo stepped onto the platform, looking around. "Seems like a nice place." The platform was high above the dirty streets of the Lower Ring. "Well, let's get going," he told Kikio as he descended the stairs to the Lower Ring.

I will never be afraid again... Hikaru followed the suspicious group into the Lower Ring, being as inconspicuous as possible, to avoid detection. She didn't know what this group was up to, but if it was anything that would threaten Ba Sing Se, she would fight them without hesitation. Even if it meant eliminating them.I will keep on fighting 'till the end...
