A house set on a shabby-genteel street, not your traditional idea of a duplex, but more of a flat-on-flat. It has a covered porch, and a covered balcony with a yard that's big enough for two families to share. It is tastfully painted, with a buttery yellow, common for Victorian houses, and white. The flower beds have been planted with a variety of complimentary flowers... Though, it seems, that any orange flowers were studiously avoided.

There are two mailboxes, but only one has a name, Go, designating an occupant. At least for now.

"So this is your place," Shiela said, as she hauled her bag into the lower apartment.

"Yeah, I'm sure. So you own the whole building, and rent out the top floor... That makes sense. More sense than owning a whole big mansion, and only using about a quarter of it."

"Yup. Home sweet home. My little retreat from the world at large," Heather said.

"Sounds like your parents' house, cuz... Just flaunting the wealth."

"Yeah, no kidding. I figured I had better get out, before my parents decided to either throw me out with just the clothes on my back, or try the forcing technique, again."
