Amaranth wandered into the classroom, nibbling at a biscuit as she grabbed a scroll out of her bag to read while waiting for the new student. Dumping her bag on the desk, the large chuunin unrolled the scroll, moving to the location where she had left it last, a page on obscure jutsu that seemed to have no practical use what so ever. A jutsu that provides just the right amount of heat to boil a kettle, to peel an apple. Despite their power and abilities, some ninja really could think up some boring jutsu. If they could be adapted and changed however, then they may become powerful. Boiling your foe without burning their skin, or merely peeling the skin right off. The possibilities were endless. With a small sigh at the stupidity of some people, Amaranth glanced up towards the door and wondered when the student would arrive, she hadn't taught a class since before the chuunin exams and was quite eager to see if it would be any easier than last time. And if the student used a lot of jutsu, then that would make it even more interesting.

Vicer ran up to the door, he was eager to learn something. He had heard that this teacher was great with the control of Chakra, just what he needed. He took a death breath in, 'I hope I don't make a fool of myself' he thought as he opened the door.
He looked in at the slightly chubby Chunin waiting for him, he tried to sound polite, but rushed out the words, "H.. He... Hello" he stammered out. He looked down, Dammit... he thought, he had done exactly what he had just willed himself not to.
Without looking back up, he moved to a seat and sat down hard on it, his sheathed sword making a hollow thud when it touched the ground. He took another deep breath, and tried talking again. "Hello... It's nice... to meet you... I suppose you are... Amaranth?" he asked him in his slow style of speech. He did not want to stutter like he did earlier.

Amaranth nodded at the question, "Yes, I am Amaranth. And that would make you Vicer, yes?" she answered, glancing at the sword her student carried. First a Puppet User and now a sword wielder, she seemed to get all the equipment users... Shrugging slightly, the pale chuunin rolled up her scroll and slipped it back into her bag, closing it before continuing the lesson. "Well, first up, what are some of your interests and hobbies? Any particular skills you have? Just tell me a bit about yourself." After stating the first instruction, Amaranth reached into her pocket, removing a biscuit which she munched on happily as she await an answer.
((Right, for the sake of doing the lesson correctly, I still need to ask you how you prepare your posts. Do you use a spell checker? Preview and read through them?))

"Ye... Yes." Vicer mumbled out when asked if he was himself, he wasn't sure if she even waited on his answer before continuing to talk. He perked up at the next question, 'Do I have any hobbies?' he asked himself first, trying to redeem himself from his previous blunder. "Um... Anything... fun... Thats what... I like..." he slowly answered the first part.
He took yet another deep breath, trying to will his voice to stay steady, "I can light... st-uff on fire...".
((I use a spell checker ad on fore Fire fox. And yeah, Always preview and read through if it's for an RP. Also, Imagine the - in between words as a small pause. While still holding that syllable.))

Amaranth raised an eyebrow as her student mentioned fire. "Fire you say...? Well this could be interesting, I haven't seen a complete fire user here yet." After answering Vicer, Amaranth stood up from her chair, quickly finishing off the cookie she held before grabbing a piece of chalk from the desk and wandering over towards the blackboard. Pausing in front of the board, the large chuunin thought for a moment before she began to write, quickly finishing off a small writing prompt.
The Board Says... You are walking back towards the village from a small training session within the Ukude Forest and have just reached a small clearing near the river. As you step into the clearing you hear some noises from the bushes opposite the river and then a sudden crunching of wood as a large boar charges out towards you, breathing heavily with a katana buried deep in it's right side. Quickly glancing back in the direction of the village you can see the village walls through the trees, within running distance if you can escape the boar. With a tremendous roar, the wild animal shook suddenly and began charging towards you, the movement aggravating the wound in its side and causing a small amount of blood to trickle down. Walking over to where Vicer sat, Amaranth placed the chalk on his desk and explained the next part of the lesson, "Umm... All you need to do here, is just to write up a response on the board of how you would react to such a situation, and remember to use grammar and spelling."

Vicer raised an eye brow at the test. 'This seems awfully easy.' he thought as he grabbed the chalk and began to walk to the board. He tested the chalk on the board, it made a slight scraping noise, but nothing to bad, so he continued with it.The Response: I would initially dodge the boar. Safety of myself is more important than the boar. After hitting the ground I would roll up and sprint towards the wounded animal, wishing to either end its suffering completely or to just take out the sword, and give it hope for life. If it resisted my hand, I would be forced to kill it using my own Katana, but if it was passive, I would heat up the sword, decreasing the pain felt by the animal as I ripped out the sword. After the blade had been taken out, I would proceed to burn the wound shut. Then leaving it to it's own merit. He finished writing, and dusted the chalk from his hands, "Is that... what you want?" he asked, he had large smile on implanted on his face, hoping he had done right.

Amaranth's reddish-purple eyes quickly glanced over the board, taking in every word once Vicer had finished writing. "Oh...? You would try to help the boar? I've seen someone try to fight it off, and one person fled, but helping it... Now that is unusual. This should be an interesting lesson." Returning to her desk, Amaranth indicated that Vicer could sit down again as she continued the lesson, "Did you have a look around the village when you arrived? One of the requirements of a genin is knowing a bit about their own village, and so for this part, you just need to explain the significance of the village's main areas."

"Well... I have-n't been in this... Village for to... long." Vicer started to reply, it was slower than usual, since he was thinking of this village. "The village center... Seemed to be... A bunch of sh-ops and other... impor.... tant places". He began to scratch at the back of his head, thinking of the town. "There is... a bunch of hous-es... Then this acad... emy. That is abo-ut all...". He continued to scratch his head, hoping that it was enough.
((I don't actually know what Meta gaming is. I have never come across it. But God modding is generally making it so your attack hits the person directly, and saying it in your post. Being too overpowered also falls under this.))

You and I have fought a thousand battles... Amaranth nodded slowly, he would need to explore the village once he finished the class, but despite speaking slowly he seemed to be intelligent enough to understand what everything was for. And now the class was nearing its completion, there was only a few parts left to finish off. "So, what ninja skills do you specialize in? Ninjutsu, Genjutsu or Taijutsu? And a short list of what you can do, if you have one that is. After we have done this, then we are up to the final part. A short spar between teacher and student."
((When you have the time, just look around the Village's subforums, read through the intro post to each to find out what they are for. Metagaming is your character somehow knowing information that they shouldn't. Such as a weakness of a character they have only just met, or a medieval character knowing how to create a lightsaber. Godmodding is correct. And now, in OOC, you need to guess the final in-class lesson. It is pretty easy, you just need to read through the other topics to find it really.))...And we will fight until time dies and the Shadow is triumphant!

Vicer moved his hand from the back of his head to his chin, scratching that instead, "Mainly... Taijut-su and Ninjut-su. I can do... one Gen...jutsu. Saying... would take to long... I'll wri-te it...". He looked around for a pencil, finding one on a table away, which he leaned over to try and grab, almost falling from his chair. He reached it safely and began to scribble down quickly on a piece of paper available to him. He handed it to his teacher, "He-re."The Paper says... JutsusNinjutsu:Substitution jutsu: Uses a nearby inanimate object (e.g. log) to take his place in the case of an attack. Exploding Flame Shot:By creating a spark of fire release chakra from their hands, this jutsu allows the user to throw multiple balls of orange flame from their hands, which are able to cause fiery explosions on impact. The shots can also light the opponent on fire. Fire Style: Full Release: Chakra is released out of every opening, igniting as it leaves, creating an explosion that radiates around his body in a sphere. Fire Style: Flame Mold: Manipulates his fire Chakra to form as he wishes. Used mainly as a body buffing skill, to create stronger attacks. Fire Style: Flame Drain: Takes the energy from a fire other than his, and converts it to his own Chakra.Genjutsu: Burning Mind: Only used in rare cases. This Genjutsu makes the person believe that they are on fire. The flames will not go out, no matter what they try and do. The attack is not very effective against anyone who knows much about Genjutsu, since Vicer is not very good with it.Taijutsu:Fighting Style: Open Sword Style: This style requires him to never fight fight with a fist. Fighting only with an open palm, foot or elbow. This style is a graceful one, filled with spins, jumps and an inviting open hand.
Weapons Stance: He treats the Weapon as an extension of his body, attacking like he normally would with grace and beauty, except with deadly efficiency and a longer range.
Elemental Attacks: Fire is used to its most beneficial, sent to the body part striking the enemy or through the weapon to increase its damage. The flames can also be used as a defence mechanism, activated from his openings to try and blast an enemy away or at the least, light some of their clothes on fire.
Fire Dragon's Claw: Ignites hands and feet on fire, increasing the power.
Fire Dragon's Wing: Ignited the entire arm and a little extra, increasing his range without the need for a weapon. He reached down and checked to see if his blade was still there, safe in its wooden sheath, 'This would be a really bad idea to use in a sparring match... But I doubt I could actually hit a Chunin.'((Apparently the final test is a spar vs you. Or a way to avoid God modding/metagaming... And something about writing a review... but I don't get that...))

You and I have fought a thousand battles... Reaching out to grab the sheet as Vicer handed it to her, Amaranth quickly read through it, raising an eyebrow when she saw he could convert energy from fires into chakra. So now there was someone else had a way to quickly replenish their chakra stores... With a slight shrug, the pale ninja finished reading through the list and then folded the sheet, placing it into a small file before standing up and grabbing her bag. Placing the folder in her bag, Amaranth prepared to leave the room, "Well, we are done in here now, all we need to do now is have the short practice match to assess your skills. As the student, you choose the location."
((You have passed the writing review, and now we move onto the spar. Just look through the Training Grounds or Wilderness subforums and choose an unused area for the battle. There is a traffic reference section int he main forums that shows which forums are being used too.))...And we will fight until time dies and the Shadow is triumphant!

Vicer smiled, "I heard... that there is... a lak-e in the near... by forest... Called... the Moon Lake..." He stood up quickly, "Can... we go the-re" he asked, "I... don't wan-t to be arou-nd flamm.. able places." Once again, he felt his Katana hanging by his side, it was just barely in the air, clearing the ground by a few inches, "And... what do I... do wi-th this..." he asked.

You and I have fought a thousand battles... Amaranth nodded as her student mentioned the Moon Lake, she had heard of it before, and it wasn't too far from the village either. "Of course. Lets go. And feel free to use whatever abilities or weapons you want." Slinging her bag over one shoulder, Amaranth walked out of the room, heading for the village gates before leaving to the Moon Lake.
[Exit to The Moon Lake]...And we will fight until time dies and the Shadow is triumphant!

Vicer's smile increased in size. 'I can use my sword. Yes!' he thought as he jumped over his desk, meaning t follow his teacher to the Moon lake, if he didn't, he would get hopelessly lost.
