Biography: Born somewhere in the lower class area of the Fire County with very low population, he went under the study of a teacher who taught him basic Fire Bending. His skills progressed rapidly because of his hard upbringing and suroundings. While Destous was away trainning, his lessons were cut short as a Water Bender came to the land a killed his teacher as well as the rest of the town. Destous returned in shocked and longed for revenge. He was angered that the Fire Country had no protection in this area and sought to the join the navy so that he could improve his Fire Bending, insure that something like this would never happen again, and a chance to find and kill the Water Bender that killed his childhood.
