 Kyoshi Island is a small island off the southern coast of the Earth Kingdom, dotted with many small villages. It is famous as the birthplace of Avatar Kyoshi. The island is the home of the female elite Kyoshi Warriors. The island was created when Chin the Conqueror threatened it. Avatar Kyoshi separated Kyoshi Peninsula from the Earth Kingdom mainland to keep her people safe from future threats. The island is characterized by its seclusion and temperate climate. The Kyoshi Island Warriors are several all-female groups of fighters that are fiercely protective of the island and its people, with the most notable group led by Suki. While each village has its own forms and traditions, their fighting style and clothing generally mimic those of Avatar Kyoshi, although they seemingly do not implement any of the bending arts in their physical movements. The female warriors do not take kindly to training outsiders, let alone men, in these unique methods. Houses on Kyoshi Island have high-pitched roofs to keep snow from collecting on them.

Prince Jet and Lady Kikio of the fire nation ported onto Kuyoshi island so the boat could refuel and the captain could get a good night's sleep. " hey Kikio we're on Kuyoshi island. It would be a shame to pass up the chance to see this place, besides tomorrow were moving on to omashu." He called across the deck.

Ria looked up at the person who yelled. She thought he was a fire bender. "Hello!' she called cheerfully. She smiled at him.

Jet smiled down off the boat and looked at the girl " oh hello there" he said the jumped from the boat to the shore. " Hi my name is Jet, and you are?"

"Ria Cinta" she said still smiling. "I've never met a Fire bender. You are nice people judging by you. Most people go Fire benders, you stay away from them, but you seem nice! I wonder what the Prince or Princesses are like. I am just a normal person." she said.

Kikio laughed softly and anchored the boat, stepping off and standing next to Jet. "Hello there." She said, smiling.

"Hello! What is your name?" Ria asked the girl. "I'm sorry, you two are the first
Fire benders I have met. You are nice compared to what people say. They say Prince.... Jet, and Lady Kiko are lovers... and plan to rule the fire na- Oh my gosh that's who you are!" Ria said, going into panic mode. She jumped in the water. "please don't kill me!" she said, shaking from fear. She hoped that fire benders could'nt touch water.

Kikio looked at Jet after what she said then back at the girl, "Oh no dear! He's too young for me! There's at least a 10 year age difference!" She smiled sweetly at the girl, "We won't hurt you, it's just a stupid rumor. And yes, I am Kikio."

Ria looked at them. She climbed out of the water, and bended the water out of her dress and pants. She bended it into two blobs. She smiled. Drink of water? She pasted the two blobs into thier hands. She smiled. "I just started water bending on my own. I am not that good." she smiled at them.

"oh oh oh kay." Ria was still scared. I don't know that much about the world. I lived all my life with my grandma learning basic healing. I went off to get more training, but I can't find anyone to train me, and I don't know anything but healing!"
