The Southern Air Temple was one of the four temples of the Air Nomads, and one of the two exclusively housing male Airbenders, the other being the Northern Air Temple. Its population was wiped out at the beginning of the War during the Air Nomad Genocide. The temple is notable for being the childhood home of the current Avatar, Aang

Monk Hirako walks in his room, looking out the window full of children playing with Winged-Lemurs.
" Those are some fun games. "
Shinji Hirako was the only Monk Leader to be young, he has so much potential and strength. He was a role model for younger kids, but he hated his job. He couldn't play or do anything fun at the Southern Temple. It would've made him look childish but he still a child.
" Why, did I join to be a Monk Leader... It doesn't give me enough of freedom, but I have to thank you Aang for saving the Air Nomads. "

Click. Click. Click. The sound of heavy leather boots echoed on the cabblestone path to the Head Monk's study. Kajo glanced about, looking the area up and down. He smiled at the playing children. After a short few steps he knocked on Monk Hirako's door, announcing himself: "Lord Hirako, are you present?" This had been a surprise visit..he had come to facilitate further relations between the fire and air kingdoms.

Shinji hated the Fire Nation what they did in the past.. Seeing there people go Extinction but Aang saved everything.
" I can't talk, I need to practice my mediation. "
Shinji said while he sat in a position to focus.

He bit his lip, furrowing his brow. He understood how the man must feel..how all of his people must feel. His ancestor had done..so many horrible things. "Lord Hirako..I...I understand how you feel. I know you should hate me and my people..but..we have changed. It was Ozai and his army, not the innocent people of the Fire Kingdom. Condemn me, not them. May we please speak...even briefly?"

Shinji got up serious, then start to smile at the Fire Lord.
" You passed the test my friend, So why did you came here ? "
Monk Hirako walked closer to the Fire Lord, then patted his back for a greeting.

The man exhaled a sigh of relief, nodding to the man. He blinked, and pulled a map from a pouch at his side, walking over and spreading it on a table. "Lord Hirako, I came to facilitate further relations between our nations. I have a mess of purposed trade routes I would like you to look at. Also, I would like to allow you the status of protectorate nation until you are back to full force. This means..you will have full independence..however, you will have the beck-and-call of the Fire Nation military and our resources. I thought this the least I could do in exchange for the deeds of my fathers."

Shinji looked at the Map closely then pasued.
"Um, what is going to be delivered I may ask ? "
Monk Hirako walked away from Fire Lord, then stop at the window.
" I don't need your Military to help us out, there will be no conflict here or any Nomad. "
Shinji started to giggle over the map, then walk back to the Fire Lord.

"We have many industrial resources such as coal, oil, and so forth. We also have a large supply of farm land in which to grow food and tactiles. In exchange, I was curious if you could grant us access to the Nomad's great historical records? Much of ours was lost in the purgings Ozai preformed of art and literature that was below his "standards." The man shook his head, frowning.

Shinji walked out of the room, then headed where the kids were playing. Then a Lemur jump on Hirako right shoulder licking his face.
" Aha, Shiu your so cute, Why do you always try to make me get in trouble. "

The man nodded, taking his leave. He left a note stating to contact him whenever he had an answer or the inclination to speak. After writing aforementioned letter, the Fire Lord exited the temple and mounted his dragon, preparing to make the flight back to the Royal City of Caldera.

Shinji Hirako walked near his Air Bison, then he started to pet it.
" How are you doing buddy.. We have to go to the Water Tribe.. I don't even know which one kikio. "
Shinji started to pet Kikio on the face, then the Flying Bison licked Monk Hirako.
" Your so goofy, I will be back.. I have to say bye to the children. "
Shinji Hirako walked up near the children quarters watching them play Air Ball.
" Air Heads come here ! "
Shinji screamed, then all the Airbenders ran to Monk Hirako.
" Wow, Don't run that Fast. Wahahaha "
Shinji was picked up by five Airbender students.
" Come on Monk Hirako let's play. "
Shinji did a Air Sprout so the kids will all fall back.
" Your it ! "
Shinji screamed, While he running for his life.
