Aragahst looked around the forest which surrounded most of the centaurs home. He drew the hood up around his face, as to conceal himself somewhat. "Little good this will do me..." He growled as he looked at him claws. He was different than others fromt he north. He was always different. What they saw as idiocy, he saw as simple justice. And for that, he was outcasted. No one wanted an outcast, so he tried to keep to himself. The last person he was close to almost killed him. "Damn mages..." He mumbled as he started walking along a path in the forest. His claws scratched the stones on the ground as he did so.

Akayia the female village healer was quietly walking amongst the forest. She tilted her head upwards and saw a soaring eagle fly by. She was thinking about her sister Lyia who happened to be missing. Akayia didn't know what happened to her and was worried for her younger sister.
Akayia then stopped by a little stream and walked over to its edge. She leaned her magnificent head over to the rippling water and looked at her own reflection. When she saw her face she didn't see herself but she saw her mother's nose and lips and her father's eyes. It still pained Akayia to know that her parents were long gone from this world and she needed their guidance more than ever.
