Nashira ran towards the Lilly Pond, checking the areas. She was the Female Archer and was patroling the grounds for any enemies. She has long wavy brown hair and brown eyes. Nashira felt very weary of the place and wanted to make sure the land and her people would be safe. And looks down to the clear water and sees her reflection, watching it. And then feels a cool breeze blowing her hair gently. "Mmm, that feels nice," she said.

A Slight Infection

PostPosted: Thu Aug 05, 2010 12:08 pm

Trailing along behind some water ferns not too far from Nashira was none other then the village healer, Sheeva, who hummed quietly to himself, adjusting the long red scarf about him while the taur leaned down to examine a few plants.
The village was running low on herbs that could be used to heal poisonous wounds, he noted, and was currently in search of some. The silver haired man tugged his bag from his shoulder, moving a little in the shallow water to draw up the plant by its roots and seal it up in the pouch, re-shouldering it. “It barely grows anymore around here.” He remarked sadly, continuing his search of the herbs.

Nashira was enjoying the scenery until she heard a voice. She looks to see Sheeva, their healer. Smiling and walks up to him but he seems to be a bit unhappy. "Greetings Sheeva," spoke Nashira in a calm voice. Feeling the water surrounding her legs in the shallow water. And parts of her tail only touching it. "Is something the matter?" she asked nicely.

A Slight Infection

He was examining another small weed before he rose at the sound of a voice. “Nashira, how’ve you been?” He greeted, straightening up. “Pardon, if I’m interrupting you.” The silverette seemed a tad anxious as always then, most likely assuming the archer was out scouting for enemies in the area, never a good sign. “Just searching for a root that heals poison wounds; the village has seen a few more of these attacks lately.” Shifting a little in the water, he drew the plant out of the bag, the reflective green catching the sunlight to show it’s near transparent leaves.
“Have you seen anything like these around? They seemed to grow everywhere but I can’t find a single one.”

"Oh, I'm quite fine. What about you?" she asked kindly. Then shifting her standing position in water as well. "Oh no, your not interutping me at all," she spoke. Then seeing Sheeva take a plant out of his bag and takes a look at it. Listening to what he's been looking for and where to find them.

Indeed their people did need this stuff. And with these attacks, you can always use something for the poison. "Don't they usually grow in water areas," suggesting. Then looks around, "Come one I'll help you look." Centuars are always known for plant like stuff.

Walking along a path, Aragahst looked over to see the centaurs conversing. Crouching behind a rock, he tried to listen to them. But, he was rudely interupted by his growling stomach. "No, not now..." He growled. Standing up and walking towards the water, the werewolf removed his hood and raised his claws in the air. "I come in peace here friends. It seems i am hungry and dont really know the customs on hunting here." Hoping to not draw unwanted hostility, the werewolf looked around. "I know of some herbs that can be turned to basic medicines not far from here. But please, i need some meat..."

Nodding to his fellow centaur, He dropped the bag back at his side and replied. “Your help would be much appreciated, Thank you.” Just as they were about to leave, another voice sounded from a little while away, the healer shifted to look at the new face, whom was not one of their kind; Watching Nashira eye the newcomer suspiciously, Sheeva decided it was best to remain silent for the moment and let her answer the werewolf.

Nashira was leading Sheeva to find some herbs but then heard footsteps and a voice. She looks around and finds a werewolf amongst their land. She was ready to use her bow in case of an attack. About to grab an arrow when the werewolf held out his claws in the air, pleading that he came in peace. So Nashira lowers her bow and taking her hands away from her arrows and hearing the beast out.

"Well your in luck. It's perfect timing for hunting here and you may hunt around for your meal. Just be weary and don't attack any of my kind," she told him.

Nodding and lowering his claws, Aragahst bowed slightly. "Thank you. As you can see, there are no others tailing me. As far as i know, the werewolves have long fogotten me." Taking a small push from his side, the werewolf tossed it at the centaurs feet. "I am Aragahst, the Wanderer. There are few wanderers left since the open war that has brewed between the damned cats and my old people." Motioning to the pouch, his stomach growled again. "Consider that a gift from me. I have no need for such shamistic powders. I know well enough that the centaurs use moondust quite regularly."

Approaching the small pouch, the healer lifted it slowly; examining the inside to reveal indeed, it was the dust the werewolf had spoke of. “Yet another commodity that is hard to come by now.” Sheeva’s tail twitched slightly as he stood, pointing in the eastern direction of where they were standing. “I’m not exactly sure what meat your species prefers, But as far as I know, near the mountains edge is where most of the larger deer and such end up.” The centaur seemed to stare at the bag of dust in thought before tying it to his scarf. “Some sheep in the upper valley, But they’re not much. I’m afraid that’s all I recall about edible wildlife here.” He watched Aragahst, It hadn’t been the first time he saw a werewolf, but it was the first one to be without pack, a bit of a startle.

Nashira was very surprised at what the werewolf provided from them. And felt greatful as well. And hearing of what he new about that war. "Ah, yes. That war, it is really nothing to us centaurs since we were never really involve in such thing. Not our place," she said. And hearing the beast's stomach growl. She smiles a bit. "Well, you'll be able to find nice meals around here that you can feast on," and hears what Sheeva told him.

"Yes, there are deers and sheep. And a couple of boars and huge birds. But the deer would be a full meal if thats what you want," she tol him. "And thank you again for the moondust," giving and gentle but small smile.

Nodding once more, Aragahst turned away from the centaurs. "Before i leave, i may want to tell you. The war is comming right to you. A lot of the wolves plan on occupying this area in order to stage against those damned cats. The Immortals," Shaking his head, he pulled the hood over his head once more. "Dont underestimate them is all i can say..." Then, without another word, Aragahst ran towards the mountains. His hind legs had left prints in the dirt from where he stood...

Casting an uninterested look in the wolf’s direction, the healer sighed, continuing forward in the shallow water. “More of them here… This can’t be good. Why must they get us involved? It’s such a paradox.” His hooves finally hit solid land again and he continued into the area of the shoreline, awaiting the other to follow or to stay in the forest. “I believe you were directing to the shore, If not I’ll leave you to tend to the woods.” His voice wavered. “Though I would greatly appreciate company. Searching for such things tends to dull quickly.” Sheeva gave a weak smile. “By the way, You use this dust? I don’t often but if you can find a use for it it’ll be better off in your hands then mine.”

Nashira sighed at hearing more of the werewolf's news. She didn't like war too much. And found it useless but war is usually what the world lives off. Pretty much. Then looking to Sheeva and walks to him, stepping out water. "That's right. And I shall ocompany you," smiling small and stood beside him now. Then receiving the dust from him. "Um... I shall make use of it then," and leads on to their destination.
