Story: Stars of the night, moon of the skies, and the blessing of the spirit; the forms of all things begin to form and create from the flickering light that has become the planet’s life. Gentle is the breeze, yet solace as the sun in the sky as waves of water wash over the planet itself. A world where it seems nothing is at it looks. The depths of all bodies of water holding by all accounts people that are either mermaid, or not, people that be a breed between the humans and the mermaids, and then the humans upon land. A waging war between the two being sparked because of forbidden love sparking between the two races that created what they viewed as abominations neither human nor mermaid, people that look human, but with the abilities of a mermaid unable to ever form a tail.
The angels and the demons sing of this tale from their perspective areas. Angels rare to step in to interfere, while the demons causing a little mischief at times to stir up the war even more; this leaving the dragons to act as mediators between the races quarrelling over the now half-breeds starting to form all over the world itself. This seeming to occur only between the humans and the mermaids, why it had happened no one really knew till a story came about. The story of a young man and a young mermaid that had her tail hidden to make herself look human above water falling in love, they were at first unsuspected of this occurrence till suddenly the mermaid herself found out she was with child. A child neither human nor mermaid, but she would not hate the human male she had fallen for.
She instead would choose the life of the child to live on, as both the male human and the female mermaid ended up being murdered brutally, but the child somehow living as she cried out for them, a young girl of silver eyes and white hair, now a fully grown woman with eyes that look nearly like crystals of silver. She now stands as someone that pretends to be human to save her own skin, even when she knows if she fell in water she could not drown. If another human leapt into the water to retrieve her, she’d pretend to fall unconscious from a lack of air to protect her identity. That was how it went for now…a single person starting a revolution to end the war between the races…However, now it is up the people of all nations and lands, and below the sea to decide their fate. Shall they end this war, or let it continue on with the hearts of those that gave birth to children that weren’t human or mermaid to have their soul’s turn where they lay…
The Races:
Angels – Silent watchers that rarely interfere in the affairs of those below them, but will act only when they feel some sort of need and justice that must come about between the lands. They’re primary force of magic being that of healing and light. While they may have this magic, they also have the power of flight thanks to their wings various as the shades may be.
Demons – Antagonists of the war that has sprung across the land. They’re natural enjoyment is the scenes of blood-shed and massacre. Their very magic stems from that of darkness and poison, while like the angels able to fly due to their demonic wings that looks much like bats.
Dragons – The most malevolent of between Angels and Demons, creatures that vary in their minds between good, evil, and being of neutral stance over the war. Their unique powers varying only by what shade the scales of their bodies are and the types of dragon they are as well. They generally follow a strict code as well within this, being something of a mystery themselves. However, it seems all the good and evil dragons have voluntarily decided to stay out of the wars leaving only the neutral dragons to be in pure sight to help mediate the conflicts. However, the primary magic of the dragons seems to be of the Earth, Water, Fire, or Wind properties; they of course can fly or look human yet often they only act to mediate.

Humans – Much like dragons they are a neutral force, however they believe much like pure-bred mermaids that the spawns of mermaids and humans should not exist. They themselves do not understand why a love spurned between their two races and give rise to a whole new race of people that in their eyes should never mix. Humans themselves have very little magic, but it stands to reason they hold the power of wind within their veins and possibly from this an understanding of things.
Mermaids – The beauties of water as some have begun to call them. People with unsurpassed amount beauty despite being half human in appearance and half fish, they are a group of people that holds in them that of both females and males in populous like humans, however they seem to hold a mutual agreement that humans and mermaids should have never blended into a new race of people that could venture the land and sea without a hitch. Mermaids themselves need the water to survive, they must at least once a day be completely submerged in water if only for a little while to live or dry up. They’re primary magic being of the water and breathing beneath the water itself.
Half-breeds – The people that have begun to spawn over the world. Groups of people that are no longer of their parent race, they tend to vary between humans and another race. The mix of other races together never occurring, however the mix of a human between a different race having a definite impact. It seemed at the start that only humans and mermaids were mixing by blood, but over times humans that didn’t believe in the war as well as other races had their bloods begin to mix through their children. These children often have the gifts of both their parents and sometimes a new power spurned within that almost never seems natural to the other races.
Rules:
1. No god-modding
2. Pick between the races given only, they are the basis behind the role-play.
3. Be literate, I know some have problems with writer’s block. However try to type at least above a single paragraph to almost advanced standards; I’m not expecting advanced however. Just people to understand what literate is.
4. Romance is allowed, however no cybering. If it starts to come to that, request we have a black out period or time skip.
5. No killing off another person’s character without their express permission. The reason for this is simple, we don’t want any arguing over the matter later.
