Entrance Hall
Through the front door, you find yourself in an elegant circular entrance hall. To the right leads a door to the East Wing, the left to the West Wing. Before you, you see a large water fountain that extends upward toward the domed ceiling and, beyond that, an elevator and two doors leading toward the North Wing. A red circular rug lies on the dark stone floor, red velvet drapes over black satin curtains decorate the windows in the white marble walls. Running about, there are several human men and women, tending to the every needs of the residents.

Emilian ruffled his hair, staring up at the tip of the fountain. The thing was a bit much, in his opinion, but he wanted something big and elegant for the Entrance Hall. He sighed, letting his hand fall to his side, and then turned around toward the doors. Part of him was lonely, here by himself, but the other part was enjoying the silence the place held. Although the building had been transformed in more ways than one, he could sense the memories that were held within its walls. He groaned quietly, then walked around the fountain toward the West Wing.

Louise quietly entered a quietly lonely mansion. She blinked and mindlessly walked around the fountain once. She tilted her head, her hair shifting to the side as a soft smirk formed on her lips as she closed her eyes. She sensed only one figure roaming around in the mansion besides herself. Her crimson eyes glanced around from the structure, and art of the room. She blinked and smiled, looking at the art painted. Her hand traced the marble fountain as she walked around. Her attire seemed to be some kind of fancy school uniform, but she didn't attend school. She didn't feel like roaming around, but to search what mystery lay here in the mansion.

The door from the West Wing opened slowly with a soft creak as Emilian peaked curiously around the corner. Though he seemed innocent, he was prepared to defend his home, if necessary. However, as his gaze fell on the vampire girl roaming around the fountain, he mentally relaxed and opened the door wide enough to walk through, shutting it quietly behind him with a gentle click. He watched her, for a moment, before speaking and disrupting her actions, "...Uh, hi. Can I help you?" he asked, his right brow lifted somewhat. He slid his hands into his pockets, his own dress resembling that of a 'goth', though his personality seemed nothing close.

Louise had calmy sat down on the ledge of the fountain, quietly gazing into the water. Sighing, still no reflection. Perfect... She sighed as her eyes perked up as she heard a voice. She blinked and turned to see a boy about her age, wearing something she'd wear besides her uniform. Her dark crimson eye stared into his, reading him slightly. He's a vampire, but turned, not a pure blood like herself. Maybe he wasn't as blood crazy as she was. Hopefully. She smiled sweetly and tilted her head. "Hallu~ And no need for help... Hmm seems like you're a vampire as well... Living in this lonely Mansion correct? How depressing..." she said softly in reply and swayed her legs slowly, since she couldn't reach the floor with her feet as she sat on the ledge. Her long light brown hair covered her back, she was petite, probably a few inches shorter then the handsome teen before her. She turned her body towards the door and tilted just her head to look at him once again. "I can leave if you like..." she said softly.

At first, Emilian wasn't so sure he wanted company, standing completely still as he listened to her speak. However, the longer he took in her familiar scent, the more comfortable he became with the idea. Sure, he'd have to share his home, but had been like that once before, had it not? He lifted his right hand to his hair, pushing it back and holding it away from his eyes, for a moment, as she spoke of his living arrangement. As he nodded, his hand fell back to his side. "It's not so bad...," he muttered, half telling himself so he might feel better about it. When she said she'd leave, a small bout of loneliness resurfaced and he shook his head. "No, that's alright. You can stay."

He'd remained in that spot, for a minute or two longer, then slowly stepped forward to gain a better look at her. As he moved to the other side, his sneakers lightly tapped against the marble through the rug, the straps and chains on his pants lightly clicking and patting against his legs and each other. When he stopped, he turned toward her and lifted his hands to the collar of his black button up shirt, quickly fixing it out of some odd habit. He 'hmm'ed, his face vacant of emotion, then smiled a little, finally allowing himself to take to the idea of company. "You wouldn't, by any chance, have a taste for blood wine, would you?" he asked casually. Other than the humans that worked for him, he'd hardly ever had a chance to converse with anyone else. He'd gotten rusty.

Louise had the same sweet smile across her lips. Her finger twirled in a few strand of her hair as she looked up at him. "Not so bad? Ahh I see..." she nodded quietly and got up onto her feet. Her crimson eyes stared at him then smiled charmingly as he said that she was able to stay. She blinked and turned her body to face him. Ah! He was quite taller than her. She pouted like a child. "No fair... You're quite taller than I..." she tilted her head up. Though she still smiled. She blinked as he mentioned something about blood wine. She hasn't drank anything like that in a few centuries, usually she drank fresh blood. "Hmmm, I haven't drank anything like that in quite awhile... But I do like it very much, may I ask why do you ask?" she smiled as she asked him in a soft tone. She fixed her uniform jacket then looked back at him.

Emilian laughed a little with her first comment; he was, indeed, quite tall, and even more so compared to her. He felt a bit like a giant. Again, he stuffed his hands into his pockets, a nervous habit of his, though he seemed more than comfortable with the vampire's presence, otherwise. With a soft, charismatic grin, he spoke quietly, glad that she cared for the liquor, "Well, I have quite the stock of wines. I thought, perhaps, you'd like to join me for a glass or two." His mind drifted, momentarily, to the glass he'd left.

Another thought, almost a memory all its own, crossed his mind: social graces. He lifted his hand to his mouth and cleared his throat behind a loose fist before returning it to the pocket. His expression had become slightly sheepish, almost apologetic all on its own. "Forgive me, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Emilian James Vasile," his name was the first statement he'd allowed to be coated with his accent--and the only, it would seem, "But you may call me Emil." He gave a soft bow, then rose with a slightly more prominent smile.

With three little children on her arms, Lyn sighed. "Little ones I need you to let go. I'm going to see if the owner of this house has a room for me. All right?" One of the children not knowing what to do but to bite her hard in hopes of her not leaving. Yelping, Lyn frowned slightly. Kneeling down she looked at the child who was still holding on with his jaws and said, "You are going to have to let go dear. Now." The word penetrated the childs mind. His eyes dulling he released the Spirit weaver and stepped back. The other children snickered at the boy when he came back to consciousness. He apologized to her for causing the bite marks. She simply smiled at him. They all gave her a hug and quickly left out the gates. Watching them turn the corner, once they were fully gone she sighed. Looking at her arm the teeth hadn't penetrated deep, they were simply little knicks in her skin. Pulling her sleeve back over the bite she went up to the door and knocked. No one came for a minute, so she tried the handle. The door opened slowly and she poked her head in. "Excuse me. Is anyone here?" Lyn asked quietly. Her arm throbbed but she hardly noticed it.

Early on in that very day, Lyn had been in the forest helping those that came to her. Being on the outskirts was better than having to venture inside. People of all species came to her requesting help. It was not really a medical procedure she did, but merely a little trick of talent. By taking away the bad energy she simply replaced it with the better less harmful energy. You'd think she would be crazy to believe such a thing, but it was what she did everyday. She was not paid for her work, but every now and then she would get some company with a meal, which was much nicer than dining alone. Still after traveling so much, Lyn grew tired and so went looking for places to stay. She had gone to Plateau Street but most of the houses weren't in good enough condition to live in. One of the children along with a few others had told her about the Mansion. So here she was now, seeing if she could possibly get a room here.

Emilian lifted his head not because he smelled a newcomer, but because he smelled the delicious scent of human on her clothing, in the saliva on her skin. His gaze found her quickly and he fell silent from his conversation, choosing to focus on the new woman, for the time being. He was silent for the few seconds it took him to look her over, but then he spoke quietly and quickly, as if he'd miss her if he hadn't, "Welcome." He bowed his head lightly, his eyes glancing toward the door as it shut, then back to the woman. He felt a little bad for allowing himself to be distracted from the vampire who'd already made his company, but he couldn't help himself. He preferred to be alone, but he was a gentleman before anything else. "How may I help you?"

He stepped toward her, his clothing making its small noises as he moved, and stopped a couple feet from her before he caught the scent beneath the human. It was odd, almost sweet like honey or sugary frosting. It made his lips curl up, slightly, in a small smile. He wanted to continue speaking with her, but he thought it might be polite to let her become acquainted with her surroundings before he bombarded her with questions.

Seeing the man come towards her she instinctive took a tiny step back. The door was right behind her though so she could move no further. Remembering her manners though she replied quietly, "Hello. Uhm, well, I was told that this mansion had an owner whom had rented out some rooms and so I cam here looking for one if you have any available. If you don't it's fine, I can leave..." You could easily tell that she wasn't used to being around men. It was normally women and small children that came to her, not full grown males. However Lyn swallowed her discomfort and took a step forward and bowed to him. "My name is Lynette Deveraux. However please just call me Lyn."

Looking around she saw another woman in here. This raised her hopes that he wouldn't simply kick her out. Perhaps he would allow her to stay. Oh maybe that was simply his mate and so then there was no room for others. The situations were baffling. Shifting from one foot to the other Lyn rubbed her arm gently. In the silence between them the odd discomfort in her arm seemed to ring out.

Emilian made a soft, almost humorous noise. He hadn't been aware, previously, that he scared people so dearly--this woman was the second to state she'd leave if he wished. It made him a little uneasy and he, too, took a step back to give her space. He would have apologized, right then and there, but she was already speaking and he held his tongue. He chuckled softly and smiled delicately before looking over his shoulder, first at Louise and then to his favorite butler standing just beside one of the North Wing doors. He lifted his hand and motioned for the man to come over before he continued. "Of course we have a room for you," he said quietly as the butler produced a key from a rather large ring and held it out to her. "And you may call me Emilian. I suppose I am the owner of this establishment." The same hand that had motioned over his friend now lifted to his chin to scratch the bare skin, there. He watched as the butler, after letting the key fall into Lyn's hand, made his way to Louise and performed the same actions: he removed a numbered key and gave it to her, expecting her to stay. The man then left as silently as he'd come, disappearing into the North Wing.
