Plot:Team Rocket, Magma, Galactica and Aqua were defeated and the world of Pokémon fell into a tranquil peace that provided a perfect environment for the next generation to grow into the future trainers, breeders ,etc.; that is until Ho-oh and Lugia disappeared from the Johto region. With their guardians missing the legendary birds and dogs went on a rampage to find them. One of the first results of the rampage was the destruction of the forests and in the chaos Celebi the forest guardian also disappeared. Naturally the other guardians Palkia and Dialga emerged from their separate dimension to try and calm the rampagers down, but they also vanished. The only semi-guardians left were Kyogre and Grouden, but they couldn’t share power and resumed their conflict, furthering the destruction. The other legendaries followed suit, either vanishing or going on a rampage. Soon all that was left of the regions of the world were wastelands. Naturally moral fell internationally, resulting in the extinction of many Pokémon, dependent on happiness such as Happiny and Togepi unless they had an owner. Rangers spent months investigating the case, but they could not figure out what caused the legendaries to disappear.

Unbeknownst to everyone the culprit was a simple twenty-something researcher. The culprit had grown disappointed with how industrialized the Pokémon world had become and believed the only way to save the world was to destroy it first and then start anew. To do so she took a master ball and applied chemicals to it to create the sleep ball, which has the strength of the master ball, but kept the occupant in a deep sleep until they were released. With the sleep ball she captured Ho-oh, Lugia and the other missing legendaries and now will hold them in a secret underground lab until she feels the world is ready to be born, which is basically when all life in the World of Pokémon ceases to exist. To ensure that she found volunteers for a variety of dirty tasks such as murders via gang “encounters” , pillaging and capturing the remaining legendaries when she feels their job is done, among other things.

However there is hope, unbeknownst to the culprit there are a few young people emerging from the woodwork to put a stop to her plans, whether they are aware of it or not.
