To be specific; she liked him as her ally. If he was an enemy, there would be problems... Mostly on her part. Yeah. She admitted it. What of it?! Although... if she had to talk to him for more than a few minutes she may be tempted to hit him; his voice irritated her - or rather, it was his tone. He seemed like the cocky b*****d that Iris would kill on sight if he'd been from her own coven. Or at least if she was positive she'd be able to do it. [color=mediumpurple][i]He reminds me of someone.[/i][/color] His arrogant attitude, his desire for blood (and a specific kind at that), and his desire for power over the weaker species. With a smirk, Iris realized he reminded her of herself. Then with a sudden frown, she wondered to herself what would happen if she met herself... [color=mediumpurple][i]I'd be dead in a minute.[/i][/color] With that pointlessness out of the way, Iris turned her attention back to the vampire known as Zeal. He had finally ceased his conversation with Falk, and now could- She stared into his black orbs, meeting his look with her own cold glare. Personally, when giving others such a look, she found that only a few could return it properly. And so she made it her business to be able to glare back without flinching. His words made her frown, but not because she didn't agree. Frankly, it sounded too much like a threat for her tastes; was it a good idea to involve him? Probably not. Iris rolled her eyes at his words, however, figuring that, now that she was in this mess, she may as well finish it. [color=blueviolet]"Somehow I don't believe you,"[/color] she said when he told her he would help for free. [color=blueviolet]"But I'll find out when someone dies, won't I?"[/color] Her own tone was light, until of course, he warned her not to mess up. That was downright ridiculous, did he really think she would have come all this way, to speak to the mysterious man even Falk was wary of, just to ******** up the whole thing? She was about to show him just how good she was at dentistry when the previously mentioned vampire spoke up for her. Like she needed his help. Still, it was good to know Falk actually trusted her, or at least knew how she would act in certain situations. [color=mediumpurple][i]Even still, he's going to pay for that last comment.[/i][/color] While most people loved being underestimated only to show their true strength moments later, it was a pet peeve of Iris'. She hated people looking at her and seeing weak... stupid, hell even traitor (even if the last was true). [color=blueviolet]"I am not going to assure you of anything,"[/color] she told him, [color=blueviolet]"Actions speak much louder than words, and that you will see plenty of in the near future."[/color] Even with that said, Iris still felt like a fool for not sensing this... spy before. She was distracted, that much was obvious; but that was no excuse. Her first impression was tainted now. Dammit all. One thing she couldn't allow, however, was something that dated back to the very first female. [color=blueviolet]"Just to be clear; this is my operation. I say what goes on; nothing goes on without my knowledge."[/color] She watched him disappear from view, unable to [i]not[/i] feel glad about having the last word. [color=blueviolet]"He better."[/color] Iris told Falk, folding her arms. While, so far, the plan was working out fantastically. She had a plan, and allies now... at least more than the few she had before - not counting the multiple lackeys she had on hand. Ontop of that, she had Saya, the Nimir-Ra of Bloody Moon. That would certainly be helpful later on. All she had to do was give the leopard some information a few times, and after that they would have a building relationship. And maybe a friendship could come out of- [color=mediumpurple][i]Oh shut up, stop being such a pansy.[/i][/color] Friendship was overrated, and not something a member of Chaos cared about. Let alone wanted. No, all she wanted was power. And to get that, she needed to keep this plan going strong. [color=blueviolet]"I need information."[/color] Iris stated, turning abruptly and walking away from the shadows of the trees. Chaos manor was out in the open, but shrouded in darkness, as though the light itself was afraid of being near. It was difficult to find for that simple reason, but if you were a supernatural creature you probably knew exactly where the building was. Not that you'd dare go near it; forty vampires were stationed around the territory - ten of them standing right in front of the building itself. Iris walked passed them all, ignoring each one. None of them mattered to her; they all knew who she was, and she didn't give a damn who they were. Lackeys all of them, the only thing they were good for was fodder. The moment she was in sight of the mansion itself, Iris fell into her more ...girlish demeanor. He hips sashayed a bit more, her head was cocked to the side, causing her hair to flutter lightly in the wind. She widened her eyes a tad, allowing the moonlight to catch off her purple irises. She felt more than a few pair of eyes on her, and couldn't help the smirk; the light glinted off her fangs and she turned to face the main door. Normally, the most important of the coven would enter through the back, where they wouldn't be more than obvious to go through (security reasons). But Iris enjoyed coming through the front, where she would slam open the doors and relish in the looks of her vampires. And that's exactly what she did. [color=blueviolet]"Good evening, my young bloodsuckers,"[/color] What was the problem with being called a bloodsucker? That's precisely what they all were. [color=blueviolet]"How are we all, anyone hungry?"[/color] After all that had happened, Iris was in a fairly good mood. And in her good moods, she liked to hunt. But she still needed information... And what was the best form of information? Gossip. Iris looked around the group, raising an eyebrow, [color=blueviolet]"Who wants to hunt with their dear Marmee nior?"[/color] She didn't deny that there were only a handful of people in the coven that actually liked her, but they all, even those who would rather see her dead, had to admit that she was fun to hunt with. (( FAIL. I was hyper... sorry... this sort of turned out a lot less serious than I had originally intended. It all just sounded a lot better in my head...
