Maker's Holy Battle Training ((Battle Guidelines))
This is the where you will learn the great teachings of the maker. Which kingdom shall be the one to reach the maker's hidden kingdom?
((This is where you will be learning the basic battle posting format. As you know by reading the plot on the main page. Battles take place in the Cyber World. They are 1 on 1. If you win you will gain EXP (Send PM to crew member and they will add this for you). If you are killed in battle you will return to your kingdom's terminal. This does not mean you can jump back into battle with your old opponent and just pick up where you left off! Most of the Cyber battles are simply sparring trying to prove yourself to keep back enemy Cyber Warriors from your server. If you are on a mission though. For example steal some of the enemy kingdom's data will succeed only if you win against leveled NPC enemies you will fight. This is on missions only. Your squad commander will set these up.))

Sparring Training ((Basic Battle Post Format))
((This is a paragraph to teach the basic battle format. I will not go into detail on this page about character stats. This is done further on in the Maker's Holy Barracks ((Character Creation)) forum but I will go into enough detail here to get you started. Your character will grow with EXP. As you grow your Health Points (HP) and Technical Points (TP) will also increase. HP will determine your health (Duh!). TP will determine the amount of attacks you can use. When in battle you should always post your current HP and TP and your characters level at the top of the post in bold and in standard size. If you received an attack from an opponent subtract that from your health at the top. When using a technique deduct the appropriate amount of TP from the total before posting. Include that techniques stats when using it as well. You can also take the turn to charge your TP this will give you 5 TP every time you do it. We encourage you to include text in your posts also. When in battle things can get hasty but please try and put some detailed work into it. That is it for the basic battle style.))

Battle Tactics ((d20))
((This is a paragraph to help familiarize you with d20. d20 is a term for rolling a 20 sided die. The main reason for using d20 when Role Playing is to avoid God Modding (Example: I hit you and you can't block because I am super awesome!). To do this on Gaia Online is very simple. All you need to do is access Post Action. It is just above the text box next to the Post Style. You simply select the 20 sided die then the number of die your actions require (In this case 1). This will put the results of that roll above your post taking probability out of your hands. (There is a YouTube video tutorial for this at the bottom of this post for more clarification) For example lets say you use an attack that only has a 50% success rate (Each attack you have with stats will be under your abilities list) if you roll 11-20 you succeed. If you forget to add the die roll action to your post (This happens to the best of us sometimes). Then just post again quickly with the roll and an OOC apology. That's the basic d20 style. ((This is the Probability Sheet. All moves will have one of these hit rate percentages.
95% Anything but 1 hits
75% 6-20 Hits
50% 11-20 Hits
25% 16-20 Hits
5% Only 20 hits
That's it simple isn't it.))

((This is a basic battle just for reference))
HP: 50
TP: 50-5=45
Level: 10
Ryo was going to use his best move to try and finish this battle. The Hadoken (Rank E, Attack 15, Cost 5, Hit-Rate 50%). He was counting on it to hit. Ken was a worthy opponent. "Let's see how you like this one!" he exclaimed as he gathered his energy and released the attack.
((Alright now this attack has a 50% Hit-Rate so 11-20 hits anything else misses.))

((Alright now Ryo's Attack hit so Ken needs to subtract the attack from his HP and then counter attack.))
HP: 50-15=35
TP: 50-6=44
Level: 9
Ken was hit by Ryo's Hadoken it stung but this fight was far from finished. "Is that all you got" he retorted. He would use his best attack Shuruiken (Rank E, Attack 10, Cost 6, Hit-Rate 75%). Would he get his revenge?
((Alright now that is all there is to it. Battle is just a back and forth of these simple concepts.))
