For me it was B.I.G's Mo money mo problems I loved that song so much everytime it played on the radio or Mtv,Vh1and Bet I'd listen to it no matter what to me that was possibly the last good hiphop song I have ever heard in these earsbut now with all these pathetic newbie rappers who only in it for the money rather then the love of music and self expression hiphop just ain't worth listening to anymore.

Lol. I am not gay I repeat I am not gay. I have to admit I liked listening to Nsync. Honestly I mostly just liked Its Gonna Be Me and their signature song Bye Bye Bye. Haven't really been a fierce fan of any bands since then. American anyway.

Matchbox 20 is the only one I know for sure from the 90s, the rest are either late 99 or 2000 on. I never cared about when a band came out, just the music. For me the 90s was filled with a lot of crap I just as soon never hear again. I grew up on 80s hair bands. Almost every band has at least 2 songs I like by them no matter what decade they came from but very few bands do I consider myself a fan of.

I grew up listening to the original boy band, New Kids on the Block. My mom would never buy me any of their tapes, so I would take blank tapes and record them off the radio myself.
I also liked Pat Benatar's music, particularly the song "Invincible." Hell, I still love her music even now.

KRAFTWERK!!! though I think thats from the 70's...
Marilyn Manson is still probably one of my favourite ever biggrin , though these days I spend more time listening to recent stuff such as Benny Benassi :3
Not all recent music is crap mind you... depend's on the Genre you're looking at, though I do agree most of the mainstream stuff is junk I'll agree.

~Aliit ori'shya tal'din.~ I honestly have no idea what era most of the stuff I listen to is from.....I kinda just have a lot that I love to listen to....David Bowie, Queen, The Scorpions, Van Halen....And when it comes to country, pretty much no one can beat Garth Brooks. 3nodding ~Family is more than blood.~
