What would ordinarily be considered the streets of a city, the barren is what's left of the exploded streets of the Flatlands. You could see various squares where buildings used to be and the rubble that remains of them. Ocassionally you'll even see a downed plane or helicopter with military colors. The pathetic attempts of the military to prevent the apocalypse so many years ago. Thee rut-like pathways are usually desolate, aside from the occasional passerby attempting to reach some sort of civilization; and less occasionally there will be a vehicle driving the Barren.
